6. My bestie is amazing! We have been friends for 20 years:) she is more like a sister. I had gastric bypass 6 weeks ago on Jan 22 2013 and she had hers today. So far si good. I am not Going to lie. But as she went into surgery I was flooded with so many emotions. I have not gotten sick at all since surgery. I was and am worried that she will have a great recovery like I have. It was like a big flash back. All the things that scared her I had been there too. We have always done everything together. Through the ups and Downs...we even got fat at the same time LOL but now we started our new adventure! Our healthy and happy future awaits us..I am a happy person to have the best...best friend ever!
 7. They say at some point. People tend to look a little sickly before they balance off so just wait for your body to plateau and make sure you getting all the protein vitamins and nutrients you need to keep healthy inside. Your body will know when it's time to slow it down who knows maybe have another 20 pounds left but just keep the Nutrition Facts on key by maintaining a healthy diet you'll be great
 8. The first couple of weeks is really hard anyone who is deprived food is thinking about food and that's a tough thing. Is when you jump on the scale and you've lost that first 20 pounds that you realize it's all worth it and you don't think about food so much anymore . Once you start to feel 100 percent you look at food in a totally different light because if you fall backwards in the things you use to eat you know what's going to happen but you push yourself forward in a positive direction and it all works out I would dream about chocolate rivers and now I can't stand the smell of chocolate since surgery so it's better to dream about food then actually put it in your mouth in regret it later. If you're wide awake you might wanna do a little meal chart or activity chart of the meals and exercises you going to do. Try reading

The laxative worked and I take the softeners everyday ..they like ducolax brand because it is tiny and works gentile. Milk of mag can be harsh ..and don't forget always push your water Best of luck!

 18. Its been 5 weeks and 4 days since surgery ...either I have an amazing doctor or I just handled the gastric bypass extremely well. I lost 35 pounds...every time I get on the scale a few more pounds are gone I haven't had any real trouble with food or Protein. I did have a problem with apple juice ..my stomach just hurt so badly! I have not tried it again i am gonna wait LOL I started going to the gym 7 days after surgery and walking on the tread mill. People have told me how good I am looking ..I just have a tough time seeing it in the mirror. BUT...I see it in my clothes and how big they are getting ..what a great feeling! If anyone ever said this was easy...its surely not! Its work! As is anything in life that is positive ...all I can say is keep fighting the good fight. Never give up! I promised myself that from the day of surgery (1/23/13) I will never give up on anything again! I will strive to always push forward and never stop again ...
