February 6, 201313 yr I did 2 days of M of M and then tried the Miralax. I even broke down and had a 1/2 vup of coffee and still nothing! Which stool softeners do y'all use? I'm not exactly in pain but I feel sort of "backed up". does that make sense?
February 8, 201313 yr I love freebies and it so happens on the day I was complaining about not going to the bathroom, 2 Citrucel samples came in the mail! They work great and 2 a day keeps me regular.

I'm not exactly in pain but I feel sort of "backed up". does that make sense? Mine are colace. But you can get the generic stool softeners at many pharmacies and Walmart. They keep the stool soft but do not make you go. Fluid is key to bowel movements. Warm tea or broth usually helps me. I usually have a bowel movement every couple days after three I began to worry. Miralax is a great product also just take a dose daily.

February 24, 201313 yr My surgeon prescribes Colace twice daily post op. I had surgery this past Wednesday and began taking the Colace yesterday (Saturday) beginning to feel like I might need to have a bowel movement, but any sort of "pushing" has me a bit worried? Should I be? This would be my first BM since surgery.
