My bestie is amazing! We have been friends for 20 years:) she is more like a sister. I had gastric bypass 6 weeks ago on Jan 22 2013 and she had hers today. So far si good. I am not Going to lie. But as she went into surgery I was flooded with so many emotions. I have not gotten sick at all since surgery. I was and am worried that she will have a great recovery like I have. It was like a big flash back. All the things that scared her I had been there too. We have always done everything together. Through the ups and Downs...we even got fat at the same time LOL but now we started our new adventure! Our healthy and happy future awaits us..I am a happy person to have the best...best friend ever!

My bestie had her surgery Feb19th. We spoke about the surgery about 6 months ago when she had decided to do it. I had been considering it for a long time without any support from friends or family. After realizing her courage I decided to start on the path to the new me! She's now recovering nicely and is very inspiring to me. I am so happy to have a friend like her in my life My surgery is coming in April, I'm nervous but very excited!

Its great when you have a close friend to guide you through everything. They understand you inside and out:)
