A friend of mine had the surgery and is telling me I can go back to the gym after a week and walk on the treadmill. Do u guys think that is wise to so or should I wait dor two weeks?

If you're supposed to be walking then a treadmill should be okay...just walk at a normal pace and don't over do it til you're stronger and your doc says okay!

HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 233.4

My doc said as long as you're stable and don't get dizzy it's okay.

I started working out 10 days after my surgery is all up to you how your body feels.

Shellie being we have the same office they are going to tell you to walk after the first week...no where do they want you to wait 2 weeks...
