Question for the ladies!

Recommended Posts

Hi all. So I'm 3 weeks post op and I'm due to have my period. I suffer from cramps and was wondering what I can take to ease the pain? As I've been told I still can swallow tablets. Thanks in advance...

I had the same thing. 3 weeks out. I usually have really bad cramps. I first used a tylenol . That didn't work although no prob swallowing it. I then used half of a pain killer from my stiches. That really worked. I think it was an oxycodoine..!/2 did the trick for a day or 2 .Also , they had given me tramadol which also works on it.Good luck,

As a former "really bad cramp" girl, since I have lost the weight, my periods are shorter and less painful. Hope the same is true for you!!!

Tylenol...unless you are luck enough to have sone of your pain meds left lol :x

Also, I found a heating pad eased the pain as well. I have PCOS as well and know your pain :(

Feel free to message me if you ever need to :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
