1/2 Lb shrimp shelled, cleaned deveined

salt

Pepper

( I added paprika)

Directions

1. Spray large saucepan with cooking spray and cook onions, garlic & ham/bacon until soft and brown

2. Add lemon pepper, clam juice, evaporated milk, cauliflower and shrimp and let it come to a boil, stirring often. Cook until shrimp are pink.

Yum indeed. I have already printed this recipe out and plan on trying it when I graduate to this phase. I've always been a fan of any kind of crab/shrimp bisque and this one sounds dee-lish!

Wow... sounds yummy. How about packing some up in a container and shipping it to Orlando on dry ice. Special delivery !!!! Any recipe that includes more then 3 ingredients and uses more then 1 cooking utensil is too much for me. Tonight was going to be Campbell's 98%FF broccoli cheese Soup. Maybe I can grind up some shrimp and add it.

I wish I could! I love to cook and let me tell you, we will be having a LOT of leftovers. I could barely finish 3 oz of it, R finished 6 oz.

Maybe I should take a 2nd look and let my husband see what he thinks. He does all the cooking. We switched roles about 3 yrs ago and I never lift a spoon or rattle a pot anymore. Still love to collect recipes for him to try, tho.

I just bought that book from Amazon! Thanks!!

I also made the mushroom and chicken Soup and pureed that. VERY flavorful if you like mushrooms. Separately, I posted a Lobster Bisque I made up yesterday on this forum that was very tasty.

I hope you enjoy it. I can't imagine going through all these weeks of liquids just drinking shakes. The Soups have provided a nice variety. I posted a lobster bisque that I made up that is super simple and very yummy. I hope try that too. Happy cooking :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
