Looking deflated!

Recommended Posts

I have to say, I am not looking forward to plastics but I definitely need surgery. I need a Tummy Tuck and insurance will cover it but I am trying to decide wether to have another baby first or to do the tuck first so I could experience pregnancy like someone a normal size. I would love to have my arms done too but probably won't be able to afford it. I am only 8 months out but no amount of time or exercise is going to bring my skin back. I have been obese to morbidly obese my entire life and my skin is never going to bounce back so I guess I figure why wait?

I am not offended, no worries - I am just adamently stating that some of us are in a situation that we need plastics to have a normal looking body. I look okay in clothes, but am not too crazy about the visuals without... and I wanna have it fixed and waiting buys me nothing at all.

also, most of the "alternatives" like wraps and all that really have very little evidence supporting that they work long term. Especially for those of us with alot of excess skin.

No criticism intended Jane. It is just another viewpoint that should be considered. You know I respect all you guys tremendously.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
