When I get up and try to get a shower or anything for that matter I get sweaty and lightheaded! Any thoughts? I'm 8 days post op! Low blood sugar maybe?

Are you getting in your Water and Protein? My doc said to get up and walk around for 5-10 minutes every hour.

It sure sounds like it--you might be a bit dehydrated, too. Give your doc a call if it persists!

No, not on bp meds. I've been doing ok with the Water, but I think I've concentrated so hard on the Protein that I've neglected the Fluid (even though they are kinda one in the same right now) haha almost finished a whole water bottle and already feeling better!

your not the only one...im 9 months post op and have had the same problem...today which this isn't the only time...I was so dizzy and lightheaded to wear I couldn't even get out of bed, walk, nor even laying down would help it caused me to be short of breathe and nauseated. so I took my inhaler and layed down for a while. ive been to the drs for it...all my levels are in good shape and ive had a chest x ray and MRI of my head they cant find nothing, so they want to send me to a neurologist. its scary and I hate getting like this Idk what will happen but I try to relax and not move to fast and try not to bend and get plenty of fluids in. googd luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
