  6. Old habits are hard for the whole family to break. These things have been loving in the past. Be patient with them but communicate that these things make it hard for you to get healthy. This has been hard for our family too.

I was surprised at the exhaustion too. I'm always the resilient one! This is big surgery. I needed to take 2 weeks off (I only thought 1 week max) and it took the first 4 weeks to not feel somewhat fragile. I tried to listen to my body and take it easy when I got home from work. By 8 weeks I was doing pool exercise 3X a week and walking. At 8 weeks there were moments I was worried because I actually forgot about my sleeve. It does get better.
  8. Thanks for the excellent thoughts! It will be fun to go on this journey together. My sleeve date was 6/26
  9. Congrats! That is awesome. I am 8 days out and can't wait for the 1 month check in.

I had the pump and it was just right. I didn't have to wait for meds and by timing the use I was able to keep myself evenly comfortable. It takes more meds to regain pain control then to maintain at a lower level.
