I'm gonna try the Cheerios that sounds yummy and should be soft enough to eat. Im excited a new thing to eat.

I can't tolerate chicken' date=' mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, yet hope to be able pretty soon. I love fish but so much I can eat of that.

I tried meatballs it was ok and I ate a little bit of mushy rice to see if it goes down and it did well.

Flat bread!! Love it I guess with hummus would be a good snack :-)[/quote']

Cheerios were yummy and when you chew them, they end up being mush anyways! Oh yes! Hummus is SO yummy! I made some bean dip as well and that was yummy, too and good source of protein! I haven't tried meatballs yet and have done fine with tuna, but haven't tried any others. I am NOT a fan of baked fish, so I may just have tuna. Haha! I also hate sweet taters, so never tried those, but was excited when I got to have squash, carrots, green Beans, and asparagus tips! It is sad how excited I would get over going to next phases! LoL!!!

Sleeved June 26th.

HW: 470

SW: 443

CW: 413

Can eat almost anything, but certain foods go down slower and uncomfortable. Lots of Soups, Cereal, tuna, eggs. Still like to blend things like tuna and eggs, goes down better. Like Protein shakes, but only with unflavoured Protein powder, as all the rest i've tried seem too sweet. Rice cakes are great, but too many carbs so just as a treat.

Except for 1 week on full liquids, I lose 1-2 lbs per week. Been on soft foods since July 1st - nothing bothers my sleeve. Never thrown up. Work out at gym with treadmill and weights. This rate of loss will help me process the physical and mental changes well, hopefully!

When I did the sf pudding' date=' I put one scoop of the Protein powder in. One scoop is only 10 grams of protein. I guess I could had put more, but was a fraid of tasting the powder. I can't stand the smell of it. Good luck.[/quote']

Hi I was sleeved on 6/24 and I thought about ways to get in adequate amounts of protein. I did protein in the sf pudding and mixed it really well and put them In 1/4 cup containers and froze them they are delicious. Lol it really took a half hour to eat too. Good luck

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
