@@Kimmey16. Look at the posts regarding embracing the stall - it's common at 3 weeks post-op. Don't worry about what the scale says - if you're getting your Protein and Water in then you'll lose.

Yea, I have read it but I just wish it would go by.. I ready to feel and look better. These 3 weeks have been a real bumpy road.. A lot of sickness..

I feel the same way.. stuck for 3 weeks. I don't understand why?

Seeing all of these before, during and after photos is so inspiring, so amazing! When I was still working up the courage to have the surgery, it was your successes that gave me the faith to go through with it, and I truly have no regrets. I am only five months out from surgery, and I don't know how much weight I've lost. I'm sure that it is at least 80 to 100 pounds, I'm a find out at my surgeons in a couple weeks. But I couldn't help but wish to join in the fun! So here are some progress pics…post-260601-14621058989677_thumb.jpg

Almost 11 months post-op, from 252 to 175. Have been stalled for some time (at least 3 months, perhaps longer), but I'm running 5 miles at a decent 11 minute pace, and feel outstanding. These pics help to make me feel better about my accomplishments as well.

I haven't posted any pics in a while (hit my stretch goal a couple weeks ago now), but this is my absolute favorite before and after and really summarizes the reason I had surgery. My little girl is getting bigger and I've gotten smaller... hopefully she keeps holding my hand for a while longer. They just get so big so fast!

A year ago I never could have begun to hope that I would be where I am today. Feeling so very grateful! (VSG 11/17/15)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
