I'm doing adrenal supplementation for my low blood pressure and vertigo. Really helps.

Interesting stuff, I was just reading about it. :)

I guess this is how you do it. Thanks Lisa! I just finished week three and Wednesday I start week 4 I'm kinda nervous.

If you have completed wk 4 you are 1/3 of the way through. Sounds like your a runner to me! Keep up the good work.

W7D2 done! Even after a five day vacation! I was really proud of myself for running the whole thing. I didn't think I would be able to. Maybe I'm actually becoming a real runner?!

I got back on the wagon (and the treadmill) yesterday. I've been battling horrible pain from fibromyalgia the last month because my new insurance won't cover my medicine (Cymbalta) that has been working for 2 years until I try a medicine on their approved list. The new medicine (Gabapentin) just isn't working for me. I noticed a mental pattern that I start to use the pain as an excuse to not exercise and then I noticed I was using it as an excuse to eat more (I hurt, therefore I deserve a treat). Bottom line is that exercise releases pain killing endorphins, so I got my butt back into gear. I decided to go back a few weeks and not push myself so hard to progress. Also called my rheumatologist to see how long I have to try the new meds before going back to Cymbalta.

My weight loss has also stalled out. I'm sure it's the additional slider foods, lack of regular exercise, traveling, and work stress.

Today is my 6 month surgiversary. I've lost 64 pounds and am 2 pounds away from onederland. My birthday is a little over two weeks away, so I'm going to do a mini challenge to be down to 195 by my birthday. To get there I am going to run/walk on treadmill every day, drink over 64ou of Water, get 60+g of Protein in every day, and log every bite. Anyone want to join me on this challenge?

Hope everyone is having a super day!

Glad your back! I'm thinking about running today since I didn't do it yesterday.

At around six months I went through the same things with food.< /p>

Six months seems to be a curse in the sleeve community!

Yup - I think that is because the stomach is mostly healed and the g juice starts flowing again to tell the brain about hunger. They call this the end of the honeymoon period for this reason. All the more important to work on eating issues as well as long term eating and fitness plans before hitting this month.

I always remember the thread "use your first six months wisely" the actual thread was a mess started by a crazy person. :P

But the sentiment was good!

So we've got the 3-wk stall and the 6-month curse! Any more to look forward to? :) I've actually been really lucky, this is my first stall in 6 months. I'm in menopause (surgically), so I don't have the cycle induced fluctuations.

I'm going to the store and then getting on the treadmill when I get back. Do you think the 5:2 would be ok for someone at 6 months? I was thinking of trying it in a week if the crackdown on my bad habits doesn't work.

I'd hold off in doing something that drastic. Especially since this is your first stall and you know what you need to start doing again.

I took the recommendation from leangains.com which is a great IF website. I do feel it helps me recover better from workouts.

I bought this product today. It says to take intra workout, but I think I will just take a serving before and after the workout. How do you take it again?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
