I thought that was you guys. How could you deep fry coke or beer. Unless it's still in the bottle, but that's really taking it too far. (I really want to try the bacon and chocolate thing too, but don't tell anyone)

I'm assuming they use the coke and just make like a beer batter. Basically just eating batter make with coke? *vomits*

I think they pour the beer into dough pockets, like a beer ravioli, then fry it. Probably burns your tongue!

I wish I could say that. I just know if I started with frieds again I'd be living at Popeyes & back to 300lbs. And that's not an option.

I would respectfully have to dissagree. I believe the study to be inherently flawed. The simple fact that a surgery that does nothing except limit ones ability to consume food in the quantities that we once did yet produces the weight loss that we seek proves that it truly is a simple calories in vs calories burned equation.

I have to say I wish I could agree but this crazy stall I have been in for five weeks is blowing the calories in vs calories burned equation to smithereens!!! I weighed 277 day of surgey 255 on my two week po visit? That is great lost and I was thrilled BUT then every thing stopped. I try to break stall by eatting small amount more often but still never going over 1000 calories, also doing more exercise, more Fluid, always getting Protein. My weight has went up to 261 and down to 254 but no lost like the math of calories input vs calories burned shows there should be in the past five weeks.

Incorrect - I've never applied for surgery and never would. I struggle with my weight but understand that until I am disciplined and committed enough to eat healthier and move more - I'll just have to keep struggling. My only intent is to give a real life story as an example of the full extent of risks. The leak could have been caught sooner - but the fact is that the leaks are common. Development of fistulas related to the leaks are not uncommon. If repairable, great. If not repairable - could be years or forever without healing. Just a real life story from a real person.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
