  8. I only bought clothes when I needed them for events or trips, I bought jeggings because they stretch so I always bought a size smaller and wore some of my old tops as much as possible I really don't buy much now either and I'm a year post op. I am too busy selling off my old ones on PoshMark.

  19. Sorry so late haven't been posting I've been consumed with my pregnancy!!! I actually lost my hair before surgery in certain areas they said it was a combination of PCOS, and stress. The hair follicles were there still the dermatologist said and sure enough it was grown back as if nothing ever happened. I haven't had anymore bald spots since vsg. Are you on birth control? I ask because I took it to help regulate my hormones and balance that testosterone.
  20. Hi Ladies just checking in. I haven't been here in a while, the pregnancy has been hard for me, this is my first, constant vomiting and now I'm fainting. I go today to meet with a diabetic counselor at my high risk doctors office, because of the fainting, low blood sugar, low blood pressure and they don't want me to slip in a coma that's how bad my glucose tolerance test was. So far I've gained 2 pounds after losing 15 pounds after finding out I was pregnant. They want me to gain weight I'm currently at 217 pounds. The baby weighs 2 lbs and 6oz at 26 weeks he is doing great based on all their tests. How is everyone else?
  21. Hey, Ladies I am 8 months out from Gastric Sleeve surgery and just found out I am pregnant 6 wks now I don't go to the OBGYN until 5/27/15 and then I check in with my WLS surgeron on 6/1/15. I stopped by his office today only to pick up paperwork to give to the OBGYN. I have to admit this was unplanned and with PCOS I thought I'd never get pregnant, so I am looking at this as a blessing. How are you guys doing? I'm nervous and anxious.

  25. I have experienced all of the affects from PCOS! I was sleeved on 8/18/14, I still have excess facial hair and it's growing fast I'm used to it now being diagnosed as an adolescent. But my hair has grown back in a bald spot on my head I did see a dermatologist so he gave to steroids for my scalp, before surgery I started taking biotin pills and I do that everyday which is limiting my hair loss. I stopped taking my birth control and I've been having a normal period for 2 months now which is new I think that has to do with the weight loss. I want to have a child as well, and so past posts here gave me hope!
  26. Have you tired PoshMark I've been selling my old clothes there
  27. I haven't had any post op blood test! I probably need one though I feel so sluggish at times and then at other times I literally can walk for miles and do. Smh I feel like I'm going bipolar in real life. I'm still alive I had a stall about 2weeks then dropped 6 pounds. Sleeved on 8/18. Highest weight 330/ SW 313/ CW 274 . I thought I would've lost more by now ! Anybody else feel the same? ????

I've only lost 56 pounds and I'm noticing the difference already I had to stuff my bra smh, but true, my bra didn't fit anymore like it used too, I just had surgery on 8/18/14 so I'm not going out and buying bras because they may even get more smaller. Bras are expensive ! Lol smh I was a 42 DDD I feel like I lost at least a cup size already. ????
