pregnancy after sleeve

I am 36 and 20 months post op and I just found out I am 5 weeks pregnant. I am scared of everything this go round. I have had two children previous to surgery; however that was 13 years ago. I am afraid of gaining too much weight, afraid of not gaining enough, my age and just how much this is going to change everything. I am excited now that the shock has worn off but so nervous. Any support, suggestions or stories woul

Congratulations to you curvycurlyfit! I am pretty nervous about it all but very excited at the same time. Is your pregnancy going pretty normal?

So far so good. I have my first appointment tomorrow with my OB but I cant get into my surgon until April 1ts.

May 15th I'll be 2 years post-op and I'm 29 weeks pregnant with a girl.. This is my second pregnancy , but first since being sleeved.. This pregnancy has been so different then then my first.. First of all I've had no morning sickness but have been very tired and I'm anemic and slightly hypoglycemic.. I'm way smaller this pregnancy however I have been way more uncomfortable this time around.... So far I've gained 15 pounds, the first trimester I didn't gain anything but once I get to 13 weeks I started putting on some weight.. I just had a ultrasound at 27 weeks and it looks like our baby girl is still growing right on schedule and appears to be healthy...

I am 4 months pregnant. I found out on January 14th of this year which was my one year anniversary to my surgery. I was down 110 lbs in one year and had 20 more to go. I feel very blessed to be pregnant but am very nervous because I gained so much weight already. I hope I can go back to my healthy eating after the baby is born and get down to my pre baby weight. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hello all. I am 2 months post op and just found out 2 days ago I'm pregnant with my 3rd. This was completely unplanned as we thought we were done having kids and I'm only 2 months post op. I'm pretty freaked out. Glad to find some other people on here pregnant so close to surgery date.

My doc said I could take 2 Flintstones with Folic acid and then all my other vitamins.

Congrats to all the preggos! I am 6 months post op and down 107lbs. My husband and I decided to try and got lucky pretty quick. I found out before I even missed my period which was surpring but I just had a feeling. Best of luck to you all!

Congrats to you too tycolt1225! Looks like we are probably due around the same time. I have an appointment with my surgeon next week and I feel like I am going to be lectured.

It looks like I'm due around the end of December. Yea I was scared to death to call my surgeon because I thought they would lecture me. The nurse was actually really supportive and said the main thing to worry about it Nutrition and dehydration. Wow you have lost 100 lbs in 6 months!!! That's amazing. I am down 48 lbs in 2 months. Are you worried about the weight gain and not being able to get it off? I am!

I'm glad you have a supportive team to help you out! I'm dreading telling my doc...I feel like she's not going to be happy but oh well. You're doing great with your weight loss...I lost part of mine before surgery so more like 70+ pounds in 6 months. Keep in touch ...I'd like to know how everything is going with you since we are both December moms!
