January Newbies ! Progress ?

Recommended Posts

Surgery was 1/30. So far I have GAINED 6 pounds! I'm so depressed and stressed about it. It has to be Water weight' date=' but still...[/quote']

I came home 12lbs higher than when I went in (I was warned about this so didn't stress about it). I lost it all back again in the first week home.

It's normal ... Water weight from being on an IV, etc.

Broke my four day stall today!! I made sure to get a little more calories in yesterday and bam, 1lb down today!! So happy!! So anyone in a stall, try upping your calories, maybe that will work! I can tell that I am going to be a slower loser and I'm ok with that. As long as its going down! Lol

Just had a thought. Is anyone savvy enough to make a grid of all of our Wt loss for jan sleeves? If so it would be a great motivator for us to report our wt loss along our journey. Any thoughts?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
