I'm with you :) I have ALWAYS been hot. I'm always the only one sweating, the only one that is about to die lol. Now, I'm sitting here in my house with my heat at 78 (used to be set at 68). I'm in long pants, 2 pairs of socks, 3 shirts, and a double layer fleece blanket and I feel like I might as well be sitting outside.

I must say it's a welcome change from being hot and sweaty, but such a weird side effect!

Bundle up :)

OMG it's crazy! I have my slippers, socks, sweats and blankets! My kids are in their pjs and hubs in shorts.. I thought to myself either this is from surgery or in getting sick. Weird! Lol

Amen on being cold all the time now, I never ran heat in the house or in my car until I had this surgery, my heat is on 77 right now and im still cold! My husband is one of those people that has a high body temp year round and before surgery I wouldn't let him even touch any part of my body with his when we were in bed at night because I would be so hot and sweating, fast forward 6 months after surgery and 103 lbs down and when we get in the bed now at night I can't get close enough to him to get warm and man o man is he loving it!

Same here I used to be embarrassed because I was always sweating hell sometimes when it was cold outside you could see the heat coming off my head. Now I'm always cold but I live in Houston so it's rarely cold here. At least now my wife has stopped trying to warm her cold feet up on me.

Hi... Has anyone gotten crazy chills after surgery or just me?

Since surgery I have been freezing and my husband looking at me like I'm crazy. I use to never sleep in socks or long sleeve/pants pajamas now there my best friend. And the space heater is alway by me plus the house heater is on.

I have Hashimoto's so my body temps run cooler to begin with, but since surgery, I wear a thick pair of socks at ALL times.

Totally relate to all of you. Always getting random chills all over my body, especially my arms and the bottom of my thighs.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
