12. You will it just takes time. I just started to enjoy meal time with family again about 2 months ago. I can't eat as much but I still feel normal.
13. And thank you both I'm 5'5, 20 years old
14. The first few months were really tough. My body hated everything I ate so I was basically consuming nothing but liquids. I had am esophageal dilation in December and I've been great ever since. The only thing I can't tolerate is french fries, they pain me so bad I cry. I also can't eat a lot of bread. I've been at this weight for a little over a month. I'd like to lose more but I'm lacking the focus I need right now. I eat a lot of protein and salad, I enjoy junk every now and then but not like I used to. Excessive amounts of sugar make me sick to no end.
15. I've gotten a lot of inquiries about what my before picture looks like so I figured I'd share. I am officially 46 weeks post-op. First picture is 1 day post-op. Last two are me this week. Starting weight was 281, I am currently 155.
16. I'm finding it extremely hard to adjust. Sadly I'm criticizing myself more now than I was when I was heavy. It's disheartening. I shouldn't feel like this because I'm in a size 10 pant, and a medium/large shirt, yet I still feel chunky. Ugh :/
17. I'm finding it really hard. Next month on the 30th I will be one year post-op. I have lost 130lbs and currently weigh 156. People tell me I'm so thin and that I look great, but I look in the mirror and still feel heavy. I don't think I look good in anything I put on and it frustrates me to no end when I'm trying to find an outfit for the day. I end up throwing half of my closet on the floor by the time I'm done. I don't know if it's psychological or if it's normal for someone to go through this after huge weight loss, but I'm worried and feel alone. I'm calling a psychiatrist tomorrow so that I can try to figure out what the problem is, but I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.
18. I was thinking about a liquid diet for a few days, maybe I'll try it
19. So I've lost 126lbs. I'm happy with my body shape but I still have leftover fat on my lower back, inner thighs, and lower belly, like below my belly button. The scale isn't budging even though I'm a gym junkie, what can I do to get back in fat burning mode? Should I go back to protein shakes? I'm stuck, and I'd like to get rid of at least 10 to 15 more pounds. Help!
20. Totally unrelated to the sleeve or surgery at all, but I don't have many men to ask their opinion on this subject. It's relationship related. If any male willing to give me their input would message me I'd greatly appreciate it!
