I've gotten a lot of inquiries about what my before picture looks like so I figured I'd share. I am officially 46 weeks post-op.

The first few months were really tough. My body hated everything I ate so I was basically consuming nothing but liquids. I had am esophageal dilation in December and I've been great ever since. The only thing I can't tolerate is french fries, they pain me so bad I cry. I also can't eat a lot of bread. I've been at this weight for a little over a month. I'd like to lose more but I'm lacking the focus I need right now. I eat a lot of protein and salad, I enjoy junk every now and then but not like I used to. Excessive amounts of sugar make me sick to no end.

Thanks for the response!! I've been feeling a little discouraged. I have an urge to feel normal. My husbands deployed right now and It often makes me sad to think that I might not be able to enjoy dinner with him. Down 24 lbs already but I'm just so anxious.

Serious? Ihad said to u earlier about wardrobe. C'mon be super proud of appearance Dang a smoking hottie. No offense meant

Thanks!! Makes me feel hopeful, looking forward to that normal feeling.

Great job and long term success as well. You inspire many of us to meet our goals no matter what our perfect or best results we can get too. I am proud of your hard work.

Thank you that means a lot :)

  • 2 weeks later...

When were you dilated? Was it painful? How many times did you have to go? I am facing the same possibility now and I'm not worried, just a bit concerned about the process.

I love this! You look great (: I just had surgery on Monday & weighed just about the same as you did... I too am 20.

Gives me hope that my body can go back to what it's supposed to be!

Great job (: definitely an inspiration.
