  1. Good luck! I'll be praying for you.

You might need to talk to your doctor about that. I remember my doctor asking me if I had any pain in my legs. Good luck and I hope it gets better soon.
  3. I was told it took 6 weeks for your stomach to heal. I hope that's right.

  7. Sounds to me like gluten intolerance. I have it and all of your symptoms are associated with a gluten intolerance. I would definitely go gluten free and make sure that's what it is. Anemia is a symptom also. Good luck in finding the source of your problems.

  14. I also didn't tell anyone but my grown kids, my husband and my best friend. I didn't need anyone telling me that I shouldn't do the surgery when I had already tried every diet under the sun and failed. My health was simply going down hill, so it was pretty much my last option. I had my surgery on December 5 and I haven't had any problems. I did what my doctor said and I have not rushed things. After hearing some of the terrible stories about leaks and eating too much and being sick, no way. I ate about a 1/2 of a scramble egg this morning being careful to go slow and chew, chew, chew. I eat potato soup, beans mashed a little with mozzarella cheese melted on top. Just don't eat very much, a couple of table spoons. I have lost 25lbs and I am glad I made the decision to be a healthier me. Good luck the both of you with your surgeries and keep us posted.

  17. Hang in there, it will get better.
  18. You will get a lot of support here. I did and was grateful for it. Sounds like your husband is trying the best he can. You will mourn food because I do. These are all normal feeling and we all have them. Just know that you will get lots of support and encouragement here. I was sleeved December 5 and have lost 23lbs and have had no problems. Just do what your doctor says and don't try and rush it. Congratulations on your decision for a healthy life.
  19. This was a very good post!! You are an inspiration for future sleevers who are scared and nervous. Congratulations on your success and future healthy life.

Very well said. I found if you do exactly as your doctor says, and don't try to rush things, then you will be ok.

I know how you feel. I tried every diet under the sun and nothing was working for me. I would lose some then gain it back plus some. I had decided I could not do it by my self. There are times when I really miss eating when everyone else does but like I said you just have to stay focused on your health and know its the right thing.
