Hi again, I haven't been on since before Christmas, I am from the Jacksonville, FL area, I have to wait so long because of Medicare rules and it will probably take that long to get the sleep study, with the machine, I already had the first one, doc approval for the cardiac part and I have to do 3 classes on three different subjects, Medicare requirement also, but I am just happy they have approved it. when I checked into it at the first of the year it was not approved and then they called me back and told me that they had approved it. Good luck on everyone finding a buddy. I went in the chat room the other day and early in the morning and had a nice chat. I am finding the site to be so informative and the people are so helful.

I also meant to say, WTG on the weight loss in 4 weeks, that is awesome.

Hi everyone. This is my first post. I live in Covington and was sleeved on 12/12 by Dr. Thomas. So far I'm down 23 lbs and my whole digestive system feels weird every time I eat. :(

I was sleeved just two days before you. My digestive track is a mess! When I eat I never know what's going to happen. The only thing I can count on is horrible sounds like my stomach is fussing about what I just ate. I'm down 20 lbs.

Not NOLA but Baton Rouge here, too! Dr. Allain on 10/15.

It takes an especially strong person to make this change while being surrounded by THE BEST food anywhere.

I'm dying for a muffalotta from Central Grocery and some "thin" fish from Middendorf's!

you're not kidding about the good food here! I think about food a lot, but I know I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites of anything. I would love to have some black eyed peas and cornbread for New Year's Day!

I'm jealous, there are not many active members from my part of Louisiana as there is from y'all's area. Lol.

Wolfgirl, where are you? I'm originally from Shreveport, went to college in Ruston, and now live in South LA.
