I just found this page and am thrilled to have found it. I am doing my preop as of yesterday and it has gone pretty smooth--not bad at all. I have been pretty hard on myself the last 2 months in order to lose the weight I needed to be able to have surgery before years end. Made my goal that my insurance required as of November 26th and my surgeon set my date.

I am having my surgery @ Cendar Park Regional in Austin. They have a great staff and bariactric staff there---it has made this the best decision of my life.

I will post more after I am back home after my surgeryl.

I'm having the surgery tomorrow too. I go in at 9. Once we all wake up and feel ok, we should post. It would be nice to see how others are doing that had surgery the same day! Best of luck for a quick recovery. Meegan Lee

My surgery is today. I cannot believe the time has come...bag is packed and about to leave for the hospital. My surgery is at 7am. I am so anxious though....

Today is the big day! I wish everyone having surgery today for a speedy recover and may god give us the strength to survive the first few days that are going to be discomfort. Best of luck to everyone.
