doreen70, a weight loss surgery photo album by doreen70 on BariatricPal. 2 photos in Before and After Gastric Sleeve Photos.
  2. The side by side didn't upload with my last post.
  3. My VSG was on December 17, 2012. My highest weight was 380. My surgery weight was 275. As of this morning, I weigh 136lbs. The side by side is basically my before and after-except I weigh about ten pounds more in the "after" ( pic was taken in March ). The other is Easter.
  4. The rise in temp is likely under expanded lungs and being dry. Do your deep breathing and sip. Try warm water-it was easier for me in the beginning than cold.
  5. Before at 275. Sleeved 12/17/12. Down to 167 lbs. after pic last Friday.
  6. Before at 275, sleeved 12/17/12. Down so far to 167. The after is last Friday.
  7. I'm down from 275 to 167 this morning. I want to lose at least 8 more lbs to reach normal BMI. I have been bouncing between 170 to 166 all month.
  8. Thanks y’all. I appreciated all the inspiration before and during my journey.
  9. As of this morning, I am down 100lbs since my surgery 12/17/13. Current weight 175 lbs.
  10. Yup-still didn't keep from worrying about it! I asked him over and over to tell me exactly what the surgeon said! My poor dear husband. He thinks I should get paid to worry.
  11. Mine didn't use a bougie.
  12. My doc warned me (well he told my husband) that I should expect a burning feeling near the large incision on my left side around two weeks post op. And he was right.
  13. My abdomen is gross, very saggy. My arms have a lot of sag as well- when I'm applying powder on my face with a brush my arms make a weird flarp sound. My upper inner thighs I prayed would stay toned but no luck. And boobs-deflated.
  14. I want new boobs and a tummy tuck. Not sure if I'm up for thigh lift too.
  15. I made it and it was a no go. It was line cheesecake. I prefer the cauliflower crust pizza. Even my picky kid liked it.
  16. I need to size mine again. At Easter I had them sized from 7.75 to 6.5-and they are spinning again. I'm afraid that I will lose my wedding set. I'm 8 months postoperative and down 97 lbs. I wonder if my ring size will continue to change.
  17. I started at 275, size 22 eight months ago. For the most part I am very strict with my diet. I am down 97 lbs and 10s fit well. Maybe even loose. I went from 3xl scrubs to larges, and those are even huge. Good luck, and know that you can do this!
  18. My surgeon required me to watch videos. It was very helpful!
  19. Yup, I cut my hair too. I always had hair fall due to hypothyroidism but at month 4 it was pretty significant so I took the plunge. I really didn't want big gobs of hair everywhere.
  20. My before and after. Down 95 lbs so far. Size 10 jeans.
  21. I've really not had bread, pasta or rice since my surgery. I've cut our quinoa as well. I really don't care for soup anymore.
  22. Yeah, surgeon says this is his goal for me. I'd like to lose 20 more. My hubby is worried I'm going to wither away.
  23. These are my updates after pics. It's been nearly 8 months. Down 95 lbs so far-surgery weight 275, current 180 and I'm 5'7".
