Just got sleeved 2 days ago..

Told you guys I would keep ya posted. We'll I just got sleeved two days ago and am experiencing a lot of discomfort and pain and it hurts to drink even a lil bit of water. I feel a bit feverish and took my temperature with the one you swipe across your head and it read 99.2 which looks like I'm about to get a fever. I'm just praying this pain goes away fast and I don't get a fever cause then it's back to the hospital for me...

The rise in temp is likely under expanded lungs and being dry. Do your deep breathing and sip. Try warm water-it was easier for me in the beginning than cold.

Keep an eye on your temp, and call your doc with any concerns. My temp was slightly elevated (under 100 but around 99.5) for the first few days. Make sure you are walking around...it helps.

Good luck!

The higher temp may be your body working to heal. Use the breathing tool they gave you. I felt the same. Take your pain meds. I wasn't out of pain for 2 weeks. All different challenges, but now I feel great three weeks later. It's all normal and you will get through it. Hang in there.

Hang in there....it will get better. The first week is kinda rough. I had elevated temp as well during that first week.

Ditto the above: deep breathing, sips of whatever temperature is right for you, and use your pain medication so you can rest and let yourself heal.

Hang in there. All the advise given is great advise. Walk walk walk. The first week is a little rough. Many prayers. Keep us posted

My temp was up for first 4 days.. Then poof.was gone
