  1. I just looked up Dr. Capella's website. Wow!!! He does amazing work. Something to be said about all the before and after pics. It is discouraging when someone raves about a Doctor and his work and you go on site and there is 2-3 pics per procedure. Is his cost reasonable?
  2. AVAVERN, Did you have all those procedures at once? I am in Tampa but Jax is not far. Do you mind me asking the cost? And what type of thigh lift? Meaning where is the scar? Thanks
  3. Thank you everyone for your stories, advise and suggestion. My biggest concern at this time is recovery time. I would get it done today if there was not such a long recovery time. Everyone's is so different.
  4. I had my sleeve in Sept 2013. I have over 100lbs. I am about 20 lbs away from goal. Looking into plastics finally. I just can't wrap my head around recovery time. All the sites say something different. I feel like I have to get a lot done! Ugh. My first question is what was your recovery time for the following surgeries? Please tell me age and activity level. I feel that makes a difference. I am 46 female and moderately active. I work out. Recovery time for Tummy Tuck with muscle tightening? Recovery time for Thigh lift? Recovery time for Brazilian butt lift? Recovery time for arm lift? Recovery time for breat lift with implants? I am not sure if I will get all that but as of now I feel I need. The TT and thigh lift are a must. My 2nd question is if you had more than one procedure at the same time. If so which ones? Thank you in advance for your help!!
  5. Thank you so much for your reply. What is fat graphing. I have never issues going to Mexico. Do you know how long you were under? I have a friend in the states who met with a Doctor here who will not do both at the same time. How us your scarring for your tummy tuck?
  6. I had the sleeve in OCT 2013 in Mexico. I went from 300lb to 180lb. I am 46 years old. I could not be happier with the weight loss but am border line depressed with the excess skin and flab. I started working out hard (weight training) four months ago. Sadly I don't see much of a difference. I always had a full face and now it is sagging. At this point I feel I need a tummy tuck, thigh lift, arm lift and breast lift with implants. I will probably have to go to Mexico again because I am self pay. My concerns and wishes: Recovery time? I had a friend yesterday get a consult for TT and they told her 10 days. On this board and realself.com it looks like 6-8 weeks. Has anyone had more than one procedure at a time? It seems like a lot get TT and Breast at same time? I want an artist. Someone who cares about scarring. I am 180 and my goal was 160. I am 5'6". I see now and maybe it's because of the flab and cellulite that I might to loose more. I never wanted to be super thin. I am size 12 want to be size 8. I am so happy about weight loss and feel so much better but can't look at myself in the Mirror. Even my face droops and that is most depressing of all. Thankfully I have the means or can work on that to get most of this done. It's the down time and not working that concerns me most. I am in sales and travel by car for work. Any advise, suggestions or encourgment would be appreciated more than you know.
  7. Jamielogical. Where can I find your gallery of pics?
  8. Thank you all!!! Cowgirljane. You look amazing!!! You are an inspiration. Wow!!! Sweat pea. I will look at his site and your pics. What did you have done and if you don't mind what as the cost?
  9. Thank you so much!!! I will defiantly look into that Doctor. Yes!!! Recovery and down time. Highly concerned but again gotta do what I need to do
  10. Hello, I was sleeved in MX 9/2013 and I could not be more pleased. I started at 300lbs and am 185lb. I still have 30lbs to go and I am getting there. I walked a few times a week since the beginning but am now weight training. I am almost certain I will need tummy tuck, breast lift with implants and possibly a thigh lift. It is the last thing I want but I have not come this far to not look my best. I am self pay and would consider Mexico again if I found the right doctor. I find this surgery to be way more serious then the sleeve and I would do whatever I needed to do or go where I needed to find some one with skill. I The scarring worries me and I have seen some pics with very nice scar lines. For example, I have seen tons of pics on realself for the thigh lift where the scar is down the inner thigh and then I have seen pics where the scar is in the groin area and the results look amazing. Can anyone please recommend a doctor whom they love their results and post pictures. Thank you in advance for your input

Thanks so much for your insight. Everything is a trade off. Because I am not lifting and really working out hard I can't complain. I would love to know of any success stories but at the end of the day I feel great. If I have to get a body lift I will. Ugh. Don't care to think about the recovery time
  13. Ad the sleeve 10/2013. Lost 100lbs. Very happy with my decision. Feel great. I work out but not enough. Has anyone had excess skin and tightened in naturally? I need advise. Encouragement. Please weigh in. Thank you!!!
  14. Thank you!!! I like exercise but need to fit it in. I have a ton more energy. I was in Key West for 2 months and it is a walking town so I rode my bike about 3 times a week and walked everywhere. I need to increase that and do foyer an longer. I am curious how bike riding has helped in toning?
  15. I had surgery 10/31/3013. My high weight was 299 and today I am at 203. Some may consider that a slow loss but I am fine with that. I am concerned about flab. I really don't work out as much as I should. I walk a few times a week and that's it. I am joining a gym and really want to firm up. I am 44 by the way. My biggest problem areas are legs above the knees, arms and abs. It looks hopeless but non the less I am so excited about how much I have lost and I how I feel Any suggestions from anyone that had flab and firmed it up??????? Thanks
  16. I totally agree and that is why have not says anything and I am glad I did not. Good luck!!
  17. Thanks Kate. Best decision I ever made and to feel normal is a true blessing. I only told 2 people. I was worried I would end up feeling I had to tell more but I did not.
  18. You look amazing. What a difference!! Congrats. I am 80lbs down after 7 months. Your skin looks good too. Especially your arms!!
  19. I had my sleeve done on Sept 30, 2013 in MX. It was a little rough at first but almost 7 months later I can't believe how normal I feel. I did not weigh prior to surgery. Day of surgery 300lbs. Today 220!!! I don't follow the rules as much as I should. I rarely have a shake. I try to get all my food from Protein. I rarely eat bread or past. I mostly eat meats and vegetables. I eat a sweet every night. I need to drink more Water. I drink alcohol about 2 to 3 times a month. I probably could have lost more but honestly I am happy with my progress. My biggest concern was never eating the foods I like. I eat small portions if whatever I like. So loosing and eating what I want on occasion is success to me. My goal weight is 160 and I hope to get there by Sept.
  20. Wow!!! Congrats. What a major transformation. Did you have work done?
  21. You look awesome!!! Your arms too. My stomach and arms are my worst areas. Both yours came down. Bravo. Do you work out?
  22. You look amazing. Good for you. Your arms look great!!! Really shrunk. Do you workout?
  23. You look fantastic!!!! How tall are you. I am Now 250 and you look much thinner. Congrats
  24. Thanks everyone for your input. I know it can be done!!!!
  25. I had the sleeve 3 months ago. Start weight was 298 the day of surgery. Did not weigh before. I have lost 46 lbs. I feel great. It was tough in The beginning but I can eat anything I want in small portions. I have been very good for the majority of time with high protein/low carb foods. I did however enjoy the holidays with carb enriched foods/alcohol and sweets. Not excessively. Honestly I am fine with my decisions!!! I am Already back on track. I have way more control than I once did I am ready to go hard and I want to spend the next 3 months focused and really loose. My question is this: Has anyone really stepped it up in months 3-6? And lost as much or more than They did in months 1-3 Thank you!!!!!
