  4. Had to get my wedding rings sized. Down to 6.5 from 7.75.
  5. I'm nearly 4 months out. I haven't had bread since surgery. I have cut out bread, pasta and rice. I really haven't missed it. Last night I took a bite of pizza, and panicked-so I spit it out. One of the doctors that I work with is teeny tiny-she doesn't eat carbs. She was excited to tell me she tried Ezekiel tortillas and they were great.
  6. Very beautiful! Congrats on your success!
  7. Try the world according to egg face. Google her blog, she has shake recipes. I made my own. Chocolate powder(chike), 7 oz milk, and pb2 powder. At one month my nutritionist insisted I get 70 gms. And I argued the smell turned me off. She said I could use a straw, and to use a shaker bottle. It helped a lot. Talk to your nutritionist.
  8. I am a nurse, and I am lucky. My coworkers have been completely supportive. Sorry that you had that happen.
  9. At 3 months out, I can't tolerate steak or pork. U had blackened salmon and cauliflower.
  10. I have to say that increasing my calories has helped break a stall. When I eat better, my scale shows it.
  11. I've not tried the patch. I use a cream that is made for me by a pharmacist. Works amazingly well. She can even add Ketamine to a cream-with zero systemic effect.
  12. At nearly 3 months I was allowed raw veggies. Salads and coleslaw are two that I enjoy.
  13. Check with a local compounding pharmacy, and see if they make a cream with NSAIDS. I have a script for a cream that has baclofen, gabapentin, cyclobenazaprine, flurbiprofen and prilocaine. Works great on my upper back/shoulder pain.
  14. Breakfast was a scrambled egg. Lunch tuna salad, and dinner was either a seared scallop or shrimp.
  15. I feel the same way today. Most days I can barely eat two ounces of protein, and 1/4 cup of veggies. Today I had an egg for breakfast. Two prunes as a snack. 3 strawberries (we went to pick our own). Then ate two ounces of grilled chicken with about 8 bites of baby greens. Dinner was about 3 ounces of salmon plus more baby greens. I'm full, but so nervous that I are two much.
  16. Gas X strips, or mylicon drops. Biotene mouth spray, for post op dry mouth. Good luck!!
  17. No, I think a nice butt on a guy is a good thing.
  18. I noticed during my bubble bath tonight, that it took less water to cover me. No need to fill the huge tub.
