Dr Garcia Tijuana Patient Stats?

Recommended Posts

I personally like having a coordinator in terms of being able to answer questions, etc. That's just too valuable for me. They also schedule your rides and all of that.

There are many good surgeons in TJ. Dealing with co-ordinators and great prices is best but please make sure you advocate for yourself and don't let the price make you think you should expect less. Make sure surgeon has general surgeon licence, laparoscopic licence and bariatric surgeon licence. Ask many questions and be educated. If your gut feels good then go with it.

I'm one week post op with Dr Garcia and Ready 4a change and wouldn't change a thing!! Too quality service was provided and I'm "one of those people" who can be highly critical of doctors and hospitals. I was pleased and would recommended them to anyone.

Ha I just got an email from a patient who went with lighter me and dr Garcia and it was her worst nightmare. Poor thing. I will ask her to share with you first hand if she wants to

Ha?!?!

Really?!?!

Wow. It staggers the mind at your apparent malicious glee over a patient who supposedly had a bad experience with ALM and Dr. Garcia. Any credibility your supposed experience had is shattered IMO by your attitude and your implied satisfaction at reporting "another" bad experience. Which is a shame because this forum is designed to support, share, and inform people who are in the midst of making a life changing decision... Surgery... And out of their comfort zone... Home. I'm not sure of your motives. Gossip? Sabotage? Feeling vindicated that you're "right" about ALM? It doesn't even matter now. Awful that an opportunity to share experiences is turned into at best, gloating and at worst, lies and sabotage.

This forum is about info sharing and that is all I am doing. Take it as you like.

Yeah. Right.

Posting in such flippant and malicious way on thread titled fatalities... Insensitive.

And btw, a "worst nightmare" is not my transportation stopping McD's on the way to the Border. It's dying. Complications. Leaks. Infection. Not being here for my family.

I would like to hear her story. You have to take the bad with the good. Thanks

As I said, it's not the doctor because I hear everyone has success, its the place and care. I can't speak for her.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
