This is where I buy mine. The bottle is 100 gummies (they are pretty sweet) and you take 4 a day, although I only take 2 a day.

$18.99.

These are what I use: http://www.bariatricadvantage.com/catalog/categoryHandler?cat=Bariatric%20Advantage%20%3A%20Calcium

It's what my surgeon recommended. The lemon ones are pretty tasty. They've also got chewable wafers but those are not nearly so good, imo.

The costco suggestion sounds wonderful... But I have a question. My plan specifically mentioned it had to be calcium citrate ... and the description of those said Calcium carbonate? Did I misread? What is difference?

Im not sure what the difference is... my nut said Calcium carbonate and not citrate... you may want to ask yours and see if the carbonate would be ok for you..

My Nut was down right obsessed that I have citrate. So far the Celebrate ones from Bariatric Advantage have tasted the best. Not sure about how many you get but my Nut gave me a lot to try and they are all I can stomach in chewables. Mind you I'm pre-op so take this with a grain of salt.

On the label, does it say Calcium carbonate or citrate? If its citrate, I'm totally getting these. But I'm pretty sure it's not.

Thanks everyone my nut also insist on citrate, it is harder to find and they are more exspensive for the ones ive seen I would have to take 3 day and they would only last about 10 days for 15 to 20 dollars

Remember to track the Calcium you're getting through food/fluids. To convert the RDA percentage on labels, remove the% and add a 0. So 10% would be 100 mg. Your multi probably also has some calcium. The TOTAL grams of calcium should be 1500. I typically end up taking two 500 mg calcium citrate/day - sometimes less.

My surgeon also suggests calcium citrate. Apparently this is better absorbed by those of us with sleeves.

Bariatric Advantages chewy chewables are like caramels. Calcet has lemon & chocolate chewables that are like candy. Healthy Indulgence (I found them at The Vitamin Shoppe) is like a piece of dark chocolate.< /p>

Yes, they are all a bit expensive, but think about what you're saving by not eating fast food, drinking soft drinks, and eating so much less now - I'll pay for yummy calcium compared to wasting money on food like I used to anyday :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
