Your "large" Incision?

Recommended Posts

I've read several posts where people have mentioned that their largest incision is on their left side. Mine is on my right side!

Where's your large incision? Does anyone know why there's a difference? Weird!

Right side for me too. My Dr made 7 incisions for mine. I know others have less. I also had my gall bladder out at the same time so maybe that made a difference.

My largest incision in the the vertical one above my belly button. the other 4 horizontal ones are tiny - less than an inch. The vertical one is a few inches long...maybe 3-4.

Well I'm relieved to know that I'm not a weirdo with my left side biggie! LOL

I have 6 incisions...5 tiny, one not so tiny. Nothing on my belly button!

They have to cut me open, one long cut straight down. Too much scar tissue to do the lapo.

I have 2 that are about the same, one on the left and one on the right. The other 3 are tiny, but those 2 are each about an inch, inch and a quarter long.

I have 5 incisions, but I also had a hernia repair. The largest one is on the right, they said that is the hole that they used to remove the stomach.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
