Recommended Posts

went to support group and the nutritionist said when you are taller and more muscle you lose fast' date=' ahhhhhhhhhhhh that explains[/quote']

That's good to know because I am short with some Musle. I was sleeved 9/19 and down 51lbs from highest weight. But I keep pressing on to my goal.

Is anyone else feeling cold due to weight loss? We have the heater running all day in the office at work, and in my car too. California is having a cold freeze, but I think its the weight loss too.

And I feel for everyone dealing with Constipation - me too. :(

Congrats to all of you who are losing weight. I am 4 months out and I've lost 35 lbs. I'm the slowest loser ever. But I'm happy. I've lost a total of 55 lbs. Ugh this has been a long rough journey. Sending you all the best.

SCARED- Do you know if you have thyroid issues or PCOS? I have PCOS and it is very difficult for me to lose weight. I am on Metformin and I think that has helped a little. Dont be discouraged. Maybe you are not eating enough calories?

what is pcos I have only lost 25 lbs since day of surgery on Sept 24/12 I am the slowest. 22lbs lost prior to surgery.

I have been stalled for over a month. Real bummer. I was at the doctor yesterday and he said most people lose to quickly and that causes Hair loss and illness so I should try to lose slowly but not stalled. Well I agree but easier said than done so I am finding out.

But the rest of you seem to be losing quite quickly which I would prefer.

No I don't have either of the thyroid or the other you mentioned. I'm just slow. Yet I am having the Hairloss problem.

I had to buy sweaters/cardigans for the first time in my life. I can actually layer clothing and look and feel good! I love it!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
