Almost 6Months Out..123Lbs Down

I don't frequent the board enough there are so many wonderful stories, of success, so figured I'd share mine.. I had the operation on march 12th of this year, started at 347lbs pre op, now I'm 224lbs, and feel great.. My ideal weight is 190lbs but i want 215 or so.. to hit that in under a year is amazing.. It's been amazing, not much as a single issue, haven't even had any nausea since the first time I woke up from my surgery.. Eating has been a learning experience, since I was a big eater, and enjoyed food.. Now I cherish a ice cream sandwich every now and then.. I have bat loads more energy, and my job has benefited from my productivity.. I read a lot of treads on here bout eating, and stuff and they were a tremendous help.. And for that I thank you guys! Well anyway here's a before and a after... Thanks again...

As you can see I was no small man.. And the diff is crazy to me when I look at the photos.. I didn't see myself as big as I was , I have a beautiful wife , wonderful kids.. I was essentially fat and happy.. But I was tired.. My legs hurt, feet hurt, I'd go through boots in 6-8 months.. Now all that is gone.. Thank god!!!!

Wow you look great!! Keep up the good work.

Quit dressing like a fat guy. You aren't one anymore my dear :). You lost twenty years as well as the pounds.

By the way....is your daughter betrothed yet? She's a super cuttiepie! How's she feel about adorable red heads? We could throw in a trust fund if we have to...and definitely a dog!

Ok google helped me , my biggest non scale victory is the activities I'm now able to partake in with my children , without dying.. We ride bikes , play soccer .. I'm not tired any more , I barely wanna goto sleep at night.. So the energy I have now in surplus for everyday life made it more than worth it!

I know what you mean about the energy and not wanting to waste time sleeping. I'm killing my husband who is a heavy equipment operator. He gets home and wants to collapse. I want to hike and bike and go here and go there ...

On the weekends it's just worse. I want to zip line, kayak, hike up mountains for miles and otherwise stay active all the time. He loves it all once I pry him out the door.

You look like a different person. You were cute heavy, but man...you're hawt now! (I have an affinity for bald men) Absolutely an amazing transformation. :)

Thanks for sharing your success! I love reading these kinds of stories.
