I stayed for two nights. I'm glad I did. The first full day, I was really out of it. And the dr has to make sure you can tolerate liquids before you go home. Plus, I have three young kids at home.

Good Luck!

I stayed 3 nights, I had some trouble keeping fluids in so I was there the max my insurance allowed. My friend told me his sister went in on a Mon. and was out Tuesday evening. So it will depend on how you are after surgery.

But you do have to hold in your liquids before they will release you.

2 nights, in on Monday out on Wednesday.

Damn it ! I was hoping you guys would say one night only :-/ oh well... How was your stay? Staff- nurses and cnas ?

My stay was fine. The first night they did wake you up every two hours for vitals.

The first day I was out of it from the meds. Didn't get up an around until after 8 or 9. I did walk alot. I may have been able to go home the next day but my BP was a bit too high. Once they got me the correct dosage of BP meds things went to normal and I was able to leave.

2 nights....don't be in a rush to go home :) It was supposed to be 1 but I couldn't keep anything down first 24 hours....so they kept me an extra night. It's nice to feel good when you go home :) Nurses and staff were great....you just press the button and they come :)

One night for me. Checked in Monday morning and went home late afternoon on Tuesday.

Two nights at the hospital, followed by one night at the hotel and then back to the good ole USA!

I had a one night stay...no problems....came in on a Thursday...left on Friday. I was drinking tea and water hours after surgery...and was walking up and down the halls 6 hrs after surgery....I had the best doc in the State for the gastric sleeve though

1night for me. My dad had the same surgery with the same surgeon and he stayed 2 nights. His heart rate was abnormal though.

One night and most of the next day. Ice chips only the first day, and added water the second day. Couldn't wait to get home to my own bed and no squeezy leg things!

My goodness- I've requested to let me stay as long as I can. It will be for sure 2 nights which means I'll push for 3 :)

One night for me and I even wound up in ICU because they couldn't wake me from the anesthesia
