How To Break A Stall
There's lots of posts on here about stalls...my experience...add more calories/fat/carbs to your diet...or carb cycling. Your body has gotten used to what you're doing

Disappointed And A Little Sad
I go through this almost every day. I've lost 38 pounds and I have to remind myself "girl, you still weigh over 300 pounds!" It's gonna take a huge amount of weight for me to no longer be "big", but I tell you what every day I'm working toward it and even though I'm not dropping 100 pounds overnight as I would like to, I know that this progress in 4 weeks is more than what I have done for myself in my entire life and more weight that I have lost in a long time. I have a total of 185 pounds to lose to get to my goal of 165....even when I write "lose 185 pounds" that sounds like too much of a hurdle, and I start to tell myself "there's just no way", so I don't focus on that. I focus every day on what I'm putting in my mouth and what kind of activity I'm doing to work towards ensuring the weight keeps coming off. I had this surgery because losing 185 pounds on my own felt impossible, but with the sleeve I KNOW it's possible to hit goal or come awfully close. This is a time to truly treat yourself kindly and with love. The weight will come off and one day soon, you'll feel the way you want Keep going, keep pressing on, don't give up!

Will I Ever Be Able To Chug Water Again?
Oh that is so nice to know that the day will come again when I can get half a bottle down in a chug! ....eventually. I'm 4 weeks and feel like I can take a good size drink but man am I dying To take that big gulp and keep drinking! At least it's not forever.

Fever Post Op
Yes I coughed up a lot of stuff when I first came home and lasted for a few days...I felt like I had pneumonia coming on....I used the spiometer they gave me in hospital that helped and did the breathing excersies everyday, couple times a day. I also had slight fever at 99.5 when I oversteessed about work and over did it at home. Remember to take it easy and treat yourself kindly . Hope you feel better soon.

Weight Loss With Eating Bad
Try carb cycling....it keeps your body always burning. The Extreme Weight Loss Makeover guy Chris Powell has a book Choose to Lose...the recipies in the book are really similar to what we should be eating. I'm 3 weeks out...when I hit 1month I am going to follow plan and see if I can avoid stalls . Good luck!

Shakes/jittery
Yes, I feel the same thing...just this morning....shaky and weak...and then I realize I haven't had anything but water! I'm trying to remember that the first thing I need to do when I wake up is get some protien in me. I'm 2.5 weeks out. My dr. Also said that because of so little cal./fat/carb intake that overnight our bodies go into starvation mode so eating within 30 mins of waking is very important....not to mention it helps with metabolism.

Having A Hard Time Getting Back Into Work Mode...anyone Else?
Last week was my first week back at work and I so don't want to work! I feel a little depressed. I'm definitly tired and don't have the energy level. I have the luxury of working from home but it is a very demanding job and I am out in the field most days....it's been a great job and I've been very successful at it....but I think I've lost the love of the job....it comes with a lot of headaches and stress (I run the OC division for this company) and I feel like I want to quit - but I know I can't. It's like once I had the time off (I haven't taken any real time off in 2 years) and real downtime, I can't seem to get my drive/desire back.....has anyone else experienced this?

Am I Alone!?!?!
I'm waiting to feel that also...I'm only 16 days out. I started the mushy stage and thought I was going try all these foods but I have no cravings and it seems more like a pain to eat than it's worth...I just dint want to. I don't miss food and don't mourn it or dream about it. I'm waking for this to change, when I want to eat again. I'm pretty much still doing 2 Protein shakes/day to get the protein in. I'm sure it will cone with time when I will want regular food.

Today is my first day of mushy food (day15) and it's not going down well at all...I can see it's going to take time to adjust to the next stage
