  1. They can be used if they don't create air build up issues for you. I never did stop using them
  2. Same here...I eat it 2-3 times a week.
  3. It's a non sugar carb. Eat chili all you want. It's protein loaded. I have
  4. I only drink diet (Dr. Pepper 10) and its like one every day. I figured as long as I'm working out, eating right, taking in my Water each day, one soda isn't going to harm anything. And it hasn't, I've continued to slim up and lose weight. I made the decision that my sleeve was going to be a tool, not an obstacle so I have worked out agreements with it
  5. yup. I can eat a large wendy's chili just fine. The reason is its a semi liquid...it slides on through
  6. The failed numbers of people's weightloss on the band, plus my own family members failed experience on the band made me chose sleeve. Also, the stories I watched on youtube of people who documented their weightloss sold me on the forced portion control the sleeve gives
  7. You can eat bread...just not much of it. I'm 10 months post op and I can eat an entire wendy's grilled chicken sandwich and be fine. Mind you I've normally limited my bread in take cause I've went the low carb route since surgery
  8. you dont' have to give up caffeine forever. In the weeks post op, its not advised cause of the gas pressure which can create discomfort. As for me, 10 months post op. I drink soda and caffeine just fine
  9. as soon as you wake up. I was walking by 4 hrs after surgery
  10. It only has 170 calories in the regular RTD form
  11. Yup its the only kind I drink. Easy to find in ready to drink bottles at Walmart or you can find deals online for the bigger bottles with 32 g's of protein. I like the Strawberry and Vanilla which Wal Mart carries. Online you can find Cookies N Cream and Banana Cream. Even though it says it has 9g's of carbs, it only has like 1 gram of sugar
  12. Yup to Tylenol no to Advil. I was on a liquid tylenol drip in recovery just after surgery as well
  13. Did you have any luck with Alli post op?
  14. Watch the sugar content on those drinks if possible...
  15. Eventhough I haven't went to one post op cause mentally I know I wouldn't get my monies worth, if I DID go to one I'd eat the lean meats like crab legs and chicken teryaki I've decided...
  16. Walmart sells the Viactive ones I take..carmel..and are DELICIOUS!!
  17. I only use the RTD Muscle Milk now. Vanilla, Strawberry Cream, Banana, and cookies n cream. The 17 oz cartons can be bought through vitamin shops and online and has 32 g of protien
  18. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy
  19. its a stomach scope to make sure there isn't any wrong in the stomach before they remove most of it. You'll be knocked out during it...won't feel a thing
  20. I drink beer, jager, vodka mixed with juices .....its not as bad as people say. Now mind you, I get drunk WAY faster than before surgery..2-3 drinks I'm doing good these days.

Welcome to the fun world. My calendar now stays "booked"
  22. It can take up to 2 years certainly. And males lose differently than Females. I dropped 130 pounds in 5 months after surgery. I excelled it with diet and a personal trainer...without those I would have STILL loss but just not as much
  23. Hey look at it this way...if you've LOST 50 pounds while taking WEIGHT GAINER..then just imagine how much you'll loose now WITHOUT It!
  24. Here is the secret for the chicken both stage. Take a can of campbells chicken noodle Soup and strain out the noodles and meat. You get a full flavored ready to go broth that way
