  1. Throw away those baggy cloths! I too am a professional and when I started wearing the smaller cloths, I got so many compliments on my weight loss. It felt great. My first thought was wow I must look good in cloths that actually fit. Try it! I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised.
  2. You look terrific and are inspiration to all of us.
  3. You look fantastic! Great job
  4. One night for me and I even wound up in ICU because they couldn't wake me from the anesthesia
  5. I also get sick taking any Multivitamin on an empty stomach. I have found though that if I take the same multivitamin right after I eat, I don't get sick. So I suggest try taking them right after a meal and see if that helps the nausea.
  6. Why are you taking them all at once? Thats about the same as I take and I space them throught he day. I take my multi and b12 right after I eat. Mid-morning I take my biotin and a calcium. Mid afternoon I take my b50 and another calcium. Before bed I take iron. Try spacing them out and see if that helps.
  7. 90 grams of protein == greek yogurt & starbucks frap for breakfast(15), can of tuna or rolled up ham lunch meat and cheese for lunch(15 - 20), a premier protein shake either as a mid afternoon snack or after I exercise(30) and 3 - 4 oz of chicken or fish for dinner(21 - 28) and sometimes a glass of 1% milk (8)

  9. Was sleeved on 3/6. Including my preop weight loss, I am down 75 lbs. I feel so good. My back doesn't hurt any more. I can walk without having to sit and rest very coup,e of minutes. I can fit in a booth and an airplpane seatbelt. I'm going to the beach the end of the month and I can't wait. This year I will be able to walk in the sand and get down and build sandcastles with my grand kids. But. I still have a long way to go andim still FAT! When I read on this board about people who started this journey, wher I am today, it depresses me and all my good feelings go down the drain. They talk about how bad they felt when they were the weight I am now, I think wow I think I must not feel as good as I think I do. Then when I look in the mirror I still see the fat lady and again i think I must not feel as good as I think I do. What a roller coaster this ride is! But I must say I am so glad I got on the ride and I can't wait until I get to the end andi see the skinny lady in the mirror.
  10. I was sleeved 3/6 and as of today am down 75 pounds. I eat whatever I want but in small quantities. I can eat 4 or 5 oz of met at a time. I track everything I eat and drink on myfitnesspal.com. I eat around 1000 calories a day, get in about 90 grams of protein and walk on my treadmill for 25 - 35 minutes almost every day.
  11. Does anyone know why we are not suppose to drink 30 minutes before, 30 minutes after and during meals? I have no problem not drinking during meals but I struggle thu the 30 minutes before and after. What is the benefit of doing this? WIll it hurt me if I don't wait 30 minutes to drink after eating?
  12. I took my granddaughter to ihop today and i could fitin a booth!!!!!!!!! Check one off my bucket list! Many more to come...........It's only the beginning.
  13. I ordered a new one ProForm 590T today from Walmart for $599. It got real good reviews. I cant wait to get it and try it out.
  14. I agree with topgun! I have 5 jars of Syntrax mix in my cupboard that I drank before my operation but CANNOT stand now. I feel like I've thrown over a $100 down the drain. Don't buy anything until after surgery....your tastebuds will change.
  15. Ow many carbs a day is considered low carbs? I'm afraid I may be eating too many.
