I like you!! Slow losers unite!!

Last night I was cold and put on my trusty hoodie and it looked like it belonged to a much bigger person :) I'm glad for these small things because I get down sometimes about my slow loss..

laura i am right there with you. but we have to be thankful for these small achievements, right. i just think what i was doing before the sleeve i had a harde time losing just to have the surgery and now i look so differant. and you dont have far to go. we are doing awesome

That is alot of progress, I can't wait til I have my 1st NSV, waiting now for approval. You are added to my list of inspirational people on here :} keep sharing your victories.

You're doing a great job! Remember that every pound off is one gone forever if you this the right way. A slower journey can be frustrating but I still feel that it gives us more time to address the underlying causes of our obesity. I had an easier time in maintenance for it.

May I also say many will be envious that you've lost less than fifty pounds yet shed several sizes! I don't think I really lost a size until about 50 pounds down. I can tell you from my experience that sizes go down much more quickly once you're out of the plus sizes, too, so you have that to look forward to. :)

You've done great. Stay positive and focus on the goal of staying healthy and at goal for the rest of your life. That's worth however long it takes to get there,

~Cheri

Great job

cheri thanks im trying to stay positive, but there are days i wonder if this new tool is going to help me

But it is working my dear!! Look at us! I know that many times I have lost about twenty pounds and at some point I stop and it starts coming back:(

Now we have done that AND it still going in the right direction :)

I was sleeved nov. 6 and am losing more slowly than others as well...but I am losing steadily and for that I'm happy! Hang in there.

Every NSV is so important and keeps everything in perspective . It truly is the small victories that count some days!! Be proud of your successes!!

laura you are so right

You are truly welcome!! We are all in this weight loss journey together:)

I love the nsv posts...I officially retired my pre-surgery jeans and a few pairs of sweats even! My winter jacket is too big too. I'm also able to di stairs without huffing and puffing! :-)

You've lost 50 lbs in 4 months and gone from a 24/26 to a 14/16 in 4 months. How can you say it's not working? How can you say you're a slow loser? That's about 12 lbs per month. Your sleeve is working great.

I'm 10 months out and have gone from a 24/26 to a 12/14. I've lost 125 lbs which is about 12 lbs per month. So I think you're about normal.
