I'm bearly starting I have my pre-op appointment on Aug 16 and my surgery is the 28th and I'm currently starting to diet n loose 15+ before my pre-op apointment and I like to know which are the best shakes out there that I can buy and the clear protein also for when I start my clear liquid diet.....and after surgery? HELP!

The best i found so far is premier protein

smoothie king gladiator for me. it is all by trial and error.

I like Premier and Oh Yeah (I got it at Vitamin Shoppe). Premier is at the BIG stores Sam's, Costco etc.

Unjury, Syntrax Nectar, & premier are the most recommended around these parts.

The best stuff that you can buy locally, is pure protien. Its 20 bucks @ Walmart, for a large container, and it comes in chocolate and vanilla. Both flavors are good!

Can premier be used during the clear phase or no?

No for clear liquid phase Isopure is the best, 40 grams of protein in 20 oz bottle. Lots of flavors, I liked the grape and orange flavor. You drink it for a few days, by then you can move to full liquids and the Premier or other shakes. I like Pure Protein cause it doesn't have that weird aftertaste.

taste like a real shake! just came out with a iced coffee it is delish as well.

my favs = bananas, orange-cream & iced coffee however strawberry, chocolate & vanilla are great too!

i've tried many and none can touch Chike! it has to be ordered though.

i have read a lot of good reviews of premier so i have some to try after surgery. If you're a coffee lover, CLICK makes a mocha and vanilla latte but taste too much like coffee for me. I'm not a huge coffee drinker.

I've been using bariatric advantage and I like it! I mix one scoop of banana with one of chocolate and make it really cold! You can also add PB2 for 5 grams of protein and 45 calories to any shake!

The Lean Protein Shakes from GNC saved my life! The strawberries and cream tastes like Nestles Strawberry Quik! I spent hundreds on powder and premixed shakes and these were the best especially ice cold! If you go in, they will let you taste it.
