I've been using Bariatric Advantage and I like it! I mix one scoop of banana with one of chocolate and make it really cold! You can also add PB2 for 5 grams of Protein and 45 calories to any shake!

Misslisa, are you pre or post op? Either way go easy on the bananas they are not a good "weight loss" fruit. I added strawberries, raspberries or pineapples 1/2 c to my Bariatric shakes. Yum. Strawberries emulsify fat.

I'm post-op. It's not actually a banana, it's banana flavored whey protein! I can't even have bananas yet! I'm only 4 weeks out:)

they do carry some at gnc called lean body its the gnc brand and they are good.low calorie also.and the isopure is good too the green apple one is the best

I LOVE THE ATIKINS SHAKES

If you don't like the Protein powder you bought at GNC, you can take it back and get a refund. That's one of the great things about trying powders and drinks at GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. They'll take back anything you don't like. Once you've settled on a brand (everyone's taste is different and it supposedly changes after surgery) you can try to order it in larger quantities to save money. I'm using About Time right now because it's got a nice mild flavor. I really don't like any of the RTD's so I can give you a recommendation there. I am planning on trying the Premier brand from Sam's Club/Costco based on so many recommendations here. Who knows, I may love it!

Good luck!

The best stuff that you can buy locally' date=' is pure protien. Its 20 bucks @ Walmart, for a large container, and it comes in chocolate and vanilla. Both flavors are good![/quote']

oops, wrong quote....

Unjury' date=' Syntrax nectar, & premier are the most recommended around these parts.[/quote']

I agree

Protidiet has been a lifesaver for me post op! It is 15 gm protein mixed in 8oz water. I am not only suck of milk based protein, my sleeve seems to be not tolerating milk well. I LOVE the grape!

what about blue diamond almond milk unsweetened post op mixed with whey protein do you think that is allowed?

FYI, Protidiet protien "juice"drinks use hydrolized Gelatin as their protien source. This is also known as collagen.

I find this to be unfortunate. I was hoping I might have been turned on to a new (possibly plant based) protien drink. Guess not.

The search continues.
