I posted this in pre op and they suggested I move it to post.....so here it goes :

I know this may be a little inappropriate and I hope I don't offend anyone but It was just a thought and im sure others have thought about this too. So here it goes!

I know the ...willy...looks bigger when men lose weight...obviously because they're losing weight. and i know our ta ta's might droop and sag. I know this from previous weight loss. But what about the ....."hoo ha"? <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I'll spare the graphicness of the post but you all know what i'm getting at!!! Does it change at all????

Hey!!

I read the thread and I appreciate that you asked this vagina question. I was also curious!!!

Have you posted videos on YouTube? I am doing my 6 month medically supervised weigh in. If you do not mind I would love to view your videos to learn more about this process.

Seriously? that means when I get to goal I'll gain 13 inches..(400/30}..that can't be right, that would put me in the guiness book of world records for sure. Lmao

Dr. Oz said, "of course guys, it does stop at some point." LOL

*OK, get ready for red faces* I am 92# down. I weigh 32# less than when I married. My husband and I notice a significant difference in the way everything feels on the lady parts (external). How can I say this...umm.. The lady went from having a big Angelina Jolie pucker to a smaller, more open grin... :D We can feel my pubic bone for the first time ever. The first time he noticed, it shocked him so bad he literally stopped to tell me; but trust me, I HAD already noticed. Penetration is much easier and deeper and the big O is O, O, Omazing. Without all that extra padding down there covering up the sensitive parts, its a LOT easier to create a spark. You know what I mean? So between the boost in my hormones and the great anatomical changes I have experienced, let's just say a boost in our sex life would be an understatement. Its kind of like eating now, ya just gotta do it every day  BTW, everything is nice and perky for me and I have had 4 kids; so if I were you, I would not be worrying about appearances. It will very likely not be a problem.

How do you explain it if you're a klutz like me and the balls fall out and you trip over them and break your neck while running on the treadmill. "I was...um...er...ah... just put the cast on." -not that I can't keep them in with the best of them......(oohoooh she went there!!!)

I'm sorry, but I just absolutely LOL!

I posted this in the other as well:

Actually, the inside WILL change. At least according to my gyno.

I went in for my first pap, I am only 20, and we talked about my surgery. She mentioned that larger women have more narrow vaginal canals because all the fat pushing in on it. She asked me about 100 times if I was sure I wasn't a virgin (really awkward). She said once I lose most of my weight it will widen a bit but not much. She said it probably wouldn't be noticeable to a partner but I may notice less discomfort, which I do have sometimes.

That's crazy! I've never heard about weight narrowing your vaginal canal. Damn, I always loved getting that compliment from guys! I don't want my "friend" to think I had a kid and didn't tell him! lol

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
