  9. You were given IV fluids; your gonna retain fluid; also you may have a TOM RIGHT AFTER because of the anesthia ; and too your body will hang on to the weight if your not getting enough fluids or calories; I'm 3 months out ; this is the experience I come from; I've only lost 38 lbs since surgery: that is still 3 -4 lbs a week; when you decide you can exercise you then will gain too. It's all part of the process; protein is the most important!
  10. I would like to see a current photo, how are you doing?

  12. No regrets. 3 months out; 52 lbs down; you need to be prepared for those side effects people tell you about, Gas- burping and pooting; burping all the time when I eat! Before surgery I thought no big deal; but you need some kind of medicine handy at all times; I only take when needed; it hasn't been bad. But unexpected even with warning. Hair loss- it does happen ; hasn't yet to me but I'm expecting it; eat your protein; be sure of this!!!! Dehydration- is prevalent in the first month; it's very hard to get 64 oz of fluid in ; Smart water ; G2, these have electrolytes; that you will need; Use a straw if you have to even though they say not to; make it easier to get it in. Sleep- get some ; when I don't sleep well I gain. Weight loss- this is a roller coaster for some; like me, down, down , up, up, down, down, don't get too upset when you gain; this Ai a clue to not enough of water; calories; sleep; lack on BM. FATS- you need some for you BM; or your gonna regret it. I went from daily BM TO every 4 days or so.
  13. Biosil drops; but the taste horrible ; but you only need 5-6 drops a day
  14. Preop 283.6 (10 day) surgery May 10 267.6 =16 lbs; today amost 12 weeks out 231.2= 36.4. Total 52.4 gone
