Fear of FUPA surgery- That's a new issue I need to bring up to the Psych guy that insurance is making me see one more time before approval. I used fear of excess skin the last time.

Plastic surgery is the theme of our informational/support meeting tomorrow night at my bariatric hospital. I'll be sure to bring up FUPA surgery in the crowded auditorium. Let you guys know! B)

Lissa- Awe Thank You so much. I do feel better about my loss now <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> I tend to look at things in a negative way instead of positive when it comes to myself. I know it's bad' date=' but low self esteem and being overweight my whole life has done that to me. Actually I have allowed that to do it to me.

I've been feeling BLAH too because I can hardly eat. I have about 2 oz and I'm done. I feel Neaseous right after and I don't eat for the rest of the day. I am only getting about 20oz of liquid a day. I keep asking myself, will I ever be able to eat more than 2-3 oz a day ever?

What does your meal plan look like at 9 months out?

Sorry I've been rambling on :-([/quote']

I'm 6 mo out. I eat about 1200 cal a day. Try to work out 5 days a wk. I drink 20 oz in 20-30 min. After workout

Had a patient once who referred to the area as her "precious". Gave a whole new perspective when I saw "lord of the rings"!!

I love this thread!! I had never been in this forum until I was coming here to ask the same question....I'm not sure if it is my sexy scorpion mentality or female curiosity that makes this topic so important for me to know...But thanks for the information, education, and humor!!

I brought up the possible changes to the love shack with hubby dearest, but offered up the possibility of a slave Leia costume once I hit goal. I think we'll be fine ;-)

This is too funny for first thing in the morning. I laughed and snorted coffee out my nose. Who knew a slave Leia costume is all that's required to re-balance the universe after VSG?

Bwahahahahahaha... ;d

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
