I was sleeved May 10. Lost 15 pounds on the pre-op diet and 21 more since. Feeling great and no complications at all. Did a 7 mile bike ride this morning and then ate 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast

I'm a little bit of a slow loser I think (which is okay with me). I lost 17 pounds in the two-week pre-op low carb diet but only 15 since surgery on May 3 and I haven't had any food that are cheat foods. As long as I see the scale going down two or three pounds a week I am totally fine with that. I expect a stall at some point and I'll power through it. I haven't added much exercise yet but have an appt. tomorrow with my NUT and Fitness Consultant. I think when I add some exercise in and get my calories up a little, I might see a larger loss, but who knows what my body is going to decide to do. So far, a little peanut butter is the only thing I've tried that has not agreed with my sleeve. One of the things I have noticed is that I am much more 'in tune' to what my body is telling me. If I am a little bit down on my water, I get tired, so I up my H2O. I am pretty much able to gulp down water now too, so I can swig a glass before bed if I need to. I also had my best NSV ever and posted it in a different section. Put a pair of pants on and they promptly fell to the ground! My husband had to come in and see what I was laughing so hard at. I'm wearing clothes in my closet that I haven't worn for many years and other clothes that I wore that were tight now fit really well. It's such an incredible feeling and a great morale booster!

I was sleeved May 1st as well, and I am also down 21 pounds. I would not change a thing super excited :D

Pre-op diet started 5/21 sleeved 5/23 Down a total of 18lb. I guess I should have weighed myself pre & post-op

So today made a month I have been sleeved! I'm down 54.8lbs from HW and 21.3lbs since surgery! I don't regret a thing, not even the 3rd week stall that the CHEETOS possibly contributed to it ~ it only made me work harder! No way possible I could have done this without the sleeve!!

I was de-banded and sleeved this past Tuesday. Surgery was more extensive than he thought because of all of the scar tissue and he kept me 1 extra day. I came home late last night and man it felt good to sleep in my own bed with my 8 week old kitty curled up next to me. One thing I was surprised about is being able to sleep on my right side. I wasnt able to do that when my band was placed- I felt this horrible tugging when I tried to lay on my side. But I normally sleep on my right side so I know that helped with being comfortable. Can't sleep on my left side since I still have the drain in (ICK). I'm down 5 lbs since surgery but Im retaining a huge amout of water too so I cant wait for the swelling to go down!

I am at a stall too, I think it is going to happen. It is just our body adjusting to the new liquids or foods I think.

Another plug for May 2012 Sleevers facebook group!

It is a secret group so nobody can see the group, who is in it, or what we post!

Just friend me on facebook & then I will add you. Search for Sharon Ivanauskas.

We have 80 members now & it is going great!!!

I sent you a FR and would love to join the May sleeve FB group!

down 23 lbs. Was sleeved May 20th.

I just squeezed into the May sleevers group. I had surgery on May 30, 2012 so not much has changed. I love reading everyone's stories though as it is encouraging.

Hello May Sleeve Buddies!!!

Today I am 1 month in and I am excited to announce I have lost 21% of my excess body weight :D

1 month before surgery: 268 lbs

day of surgery: 261 lbs

TODAY: 239 lbs

Sleeved May 22 & down 13 lbs

Hi ......I was sleeved in the Czech Republic on 16 May, I lost 12 lbs pre op and have lost 17lbs so far!

I was sleeved on May 29th. Had some BP issues before the surgery (what do you mean 210/118 isn't normal? :P) Feeling pretty good now. Right after the surgery was the worst - I felt like I had the flu, yuk. I haven't saddled up on the scale yet, but I know it's easier to do some of the things I had trouble with before. Follow up on Monday. Good luck to all the other May sleevers out there!
