  1. You look gorg!!!!
  2. Thanks ladies for you kind words and support. I am not going to give up and I'll get the app and start keeping up with what I eat and add you all. It's nice to know that I'm not alone. I started out at 265 for those who were wondering. I am getting married in november and I soooo badly wanted to be at 200 or less by then.
  3. I will have to get the app for my fitness pal. I'm honestly just feeling like a failure. I'm happy off the ones that are succeeding but it really is upsetting that I am not seeing results for myself.
  4. Thank you for the encouraging words. I walk 3-4 times a week and I have a VERY active 2 year old. It just seems every time I come on this site I realize that I'm not having the success everyone else is, and that was my biggest fear all along. I don't have a myfitnesspal, sorry. I really do appreciate your response.
  5. I am wondering if I will lose anymore freaking weight!? I was sleeved on may 1st and I have only lost 30 pounds. It's really frustrating reading the posts on here about those losing 30 pound in like 2 weeks or something crazy like that. I was a self pay and I am just wondering if I wasted $15k. I haven't lost a pound in 3 weeks. I'm just very discouraged at this point and I could literally just cry!!!
  6. I was sleeved in may 1st and I am in a stall also. I keep freaking out thinking that I've stretched my sleeve or something
  7. I am 9-10 weeks out and all I have lost is 30 lbs and I haven't lost in 2 weeks. Have I stretched my sleeve ???? Is this over for me??? I'm really upset and discouraged
  8. I didn't get the 3 week stall either. I live in La and it is HOTT and HUMID right now, and I haven't been getting enough water in probably. My goal is to refocus on my sleeve, I've kinda been wrapped up with other things. Wish me luck!
  9. Is it normal to be at a stall at around this time after surgery? I lost my job on the 22nd and I feel like since then I have at a stall. Could stress cause a stall? Just curious....
  10. I never once had acid reflux until surgery and it sucks! What is the reason for it? What can I take?
  11. This is interesting. I was sleeved on may 1st and I never thought to ask this question and the dr didn't mention it. I've been swimming like everyday for the past several weeks. My incisions have been healed though.
  12. I had mine for 8 days and it was hell
  13. After being sleeved can we still take laxatives? I'm constipated and about to take 2 but wanted opinions first
  14. I worried too. But don't stress about that they come for all sizes
  15. Can feel the "old me" coming back and it feels amazing. Everyday I have more confidence than the day before. Family friends and coworkers are noticing my results and it is so rewarding! Im just in a really exciting place right now and I feel like I'm getting control of my life back. I am only 5 weeks post op do I know this is only the beginning but I'm down 26 pounds. 26 pounds that I will never see again!!!!! Being a sleevester was the best decision for me.
  16. I had my drain for a week and it was terribly painful for me to have it removed. It was quick so that was a relief! My dr warned me that it would be painful though so at least I was warned!
  17. I tried about 2 weeks out and I was fine
  18. So me and my family went to a cookout and swimming today and being out in the heat (I live in Louisiana) was more difficult than I imagined. I have a headache and I've had one all day. I did get sunburned and I tried to drink as much as possible but I just feel like the sun was too draining. On another note, I wasn't at all hungry! I was the only sober person there lol (I was sleeved on May1st).
  19. It's so exciting!! I wonder what new things I wil be doing in one month!!!
  20. Before getting sleeved I was having a lot of pain in my feet, especially in my heels. I haven't had any foot pain since my surgery!!! Since surgery I haven't had a headache, which I usually got one at least twice a week. And lastly, I painted my own toenails )). Yayy for a small victory!!!!!
  21. I'm adding the Facebook group when I get home! That's awesome!
  22. I have a nsv! I painted my toenails today!!!
