No, but it does feel very strange. There is no way to describe the sensation, but it isn't pain.

It didn't hurt at all, but it did feel really weird. Sorta like how your tummy drops when you go down a dip in the road....a wiggly sensation inside your belly. It made me giggle, but I'm very ticklish. :D

I agree with the others. No pain but felt weird. It comes out so quickly though. It is a relief!!! Good luck : )

Honestly, I was expecting the worst...even the weird feeling people talk about...

but I didnt feel a thing.... she told me to take in a breathe...I did...held it ....closed my eyes... next thing I know she was tapping me telling me she was done...had the drain in her hand.... I didnt feel a thing....I was so happy

I had mine removed yesterday. No pain but it does feel weird. It only takes 10 seconds to pull it out.

oh this God awful drain. I HATE IT. I wont get mine out until next Friday and that day cannot come fast enough.

I didn't even know he removed it until he held it up and showed it to me!

Yeah not painful..... Just a really weird feeling. :-)

I just got mine out yesterday. Not painful at all. :)

For those who experienced pain, I'm curious......what did the output in the bulb look like prior to removal? Mine was watery and red...almost like fruit punch (gross, I know). And it seems like there was about 12ml output every 12 hours or so.

Lol at Lu wanna! I felt the exact way. I think the longer it is the more uncomfortable it is. My was very long. He had to stop part way through because he couldn't fit the whole drain in his hand. The doc then said wow yours is really long. :P

Mine looked like fruit juice too. I crying just thinking of it...

Don't get too excited. I seriously doubt your belly is going to feel like being slept upon! I am still a bit sore.
