  4. Oh my gosh! Me too! I just had one today..it knocked me out all day. I had to just lay in bed. I had a HUGE increase in my migraines and the fact that I can't take my excedrine makes it ten timed worse. The nurse said it is not because of the surgery so I have no idea what to do. But I am so tiered of them.
  5. Oh I go through the same thing with protien. I remember one day being so lightheaded and miserable. I get grossed out at everything too. I am 3 months out yesterday. Remember to always listen to YOUR doctor but my nutritionist told me those protien to go aren't the kind of protien they want us to use. She said it is LOW GRADE protien. She said it is grinded up bones. just fyi to ask your doc .
  6. Thanks for posting about unjury ...I am struggling with protein shakes right now big time. 9. Oh Minkle... I don't know you or your husband, but isn't it funny how when spouses make a huge and I mean huge mistake like your husband did they turn it on the ones they are hurting. It helps them to justify what they are doing so they aren't the bad guy. You aren't to blame...just always remember that! We are always here for u if you need us . Good luck hun.
  10. OK ladies and gentlemen.... who takes biotin and of those that do, do you feel strongly that it works?
  11. You know that is a good question..what usually makes u lose your motivation? Maybe that is why I'm so frustrated because I can't figure out what is wrong....

I got surgery April 30 and got the clear also.. I'm needing a bit more intense ....gravity is taking over and I don't think just biking and walking with weights is going to keep my access skin at bay... Did you follow it exactly or just kind of do what u could?

So...anyone done the PX90 work outs yet...I need some advice:)
  17. So I am getting in the tub...and I noticed THAT I DIDN'T FLOOD THE BATHROOM FLOOR. Usually when I get in it is like I parted the Red Sea...But not today folks!
  18. I just thought I would throw in my opinion being I have 3 kids the same age as yours, but my youngest is 7 not 5. I got my surgery April 30th. I was feeling great but very tiered. I had days where I was a little tired then days where I was exhausted. My husband took 2 weeks of work off and thank goodness because I needed it My mommy advice to you is prepare for the worst because more then likely it won't be that bad. Just remember to not put expectations on yourself. Let me give u an example.... I am a neat freak. I am 8 weeks out today. I am just now feeling strong and energized enough to clean my house as good as before my surgery. Before all my energy went to kids and their activities. Now I can keep up with all of it again:) Good luck and we are here for you if you need anything.
  19. Said best by some already...losing weight is easy...keeping it off for life is hard. Hence my decision for the surgery.
  20. Btw..excellent questions. It is scary when you are considering the sleeve ...
  21. I might be able to do my own tough mudder that I make myself in my back yard. We have a kids pool I can incorporate in there some how
  22. I will be 8 weeks out this Monday. I have done very well. I have lost 50 lbs. I don't weight myself so i don't freak out about stalls. Here is what happened... I saw my reflection in my window and got depressed. I thought "oh wow my stomach is still there and I am still fat. Am I ever going to be thinner" Has anyone else felt this way on your journey? You know things are going just fine and you are so thankful but you have that..." it isn't happening fast enough moments."?
  23. Thank you so much everyone for the responses! !! I appreciate it more then you know:) Not having pop is very hard for me but you are all right it is a bad habit that i do not want to start again. For those that can drink it you are so lucky, and have a sip for me. ;p What kind of things does everyone drink to take the place of pop? I am getting burnt out on Powerade and G2. Btw...I drink tons of water so that is not an issue
