  8. Nothing changed for me post op. I still get hungry although not as intensely & I still have cravings. I can eat anything & I unfortunately did not lose my sweet tooth. I also have not experienced "dumping" as people were talking about. I wish I did dump. It would help with the sweet tooth!!! DD
  9. I wish I had dumping. It would make it easier. I can eat anything so I have to be extra careful with any treats n sweets. None of my tastes changed post op and my sweet tooth is still intact!! Oh well!! Moderation!!!!
  10. I'm one of those people who wished I did it sooner. I had a rough surgery but would do it again in a heart beat. I love being full with such a small amount of food. I eat healthier & I'm already off of hypertension medication. I'm only 5 1/2 weeks post op. I give it a 10 whether I reach goal or not since I'm already on the road to better health : ) DD
  11. U look awesome!! Good job! Congrats!! DD
  12. I use a little bit of Mio, just a very light flavoring. I also like Propel Zero. I tried the Syntrax Nectar lemonade and it was awful!! Just so dreadful that I'm afraid to try the other flavors. It seems that a lot of people like Nectar tho. IDK I also drink decaf coffee & tea with Splenda : ) I love iced coffee!!!
  13. The smile on your face says it all!!! Congrats & great job. U look wonderful!!!
  14. I'm not at that point yet where I'd want to run but I am so thrilled for you!! You should be very proud of yourself. Use this "down" time for other positive things that you can do. It will pass and you can try to run again soon. Good luck!!! DD
  15. Congrats Kathy! The 'ready to drink' drinks that I have tried are very sweet so I mix in a little milk or coffee with milk. PureProtein, Myoplex Light and MuscleMilk Light are not bad. I usually mix my own drinks with a chocolate, vanilla or unflavored protein powder. Most of them are good. I just didn't like Syntrax Nectar despite all of the rave reviews! Good luck!! DD
  16. I had a lot of pain post op for 2 weeks. I slept in a recliner & took plenty of pain meds for those 2 weeks. It fades. Hang in there!! Feel better soon!!! DD
  17. I wore loose clothing, especially pants because the incisions were sore & I had rashes from the adhesive on heart monitor 'stickies.'
  18. Did you guys have the thinning hair along with it?
  19. I agree with the others. No pain but felt weird. It comes out so quickly though. It is a relief!!! Good luck : )
  20. Congrats!! I'm right there with you. It feels so good. I also hear ya with the "should've done it sooner" but we're doing it now... Look out world!!

  22. Kspye, congrats!! I hope u recovery quickly. I had the Band removed in Feb - hated all 4 years of it & had the Sleeve 4/24/12. Although it has not been easy I would do it all over again. I love the Sleeve!!! I'm not losing weight fast but I've already lost more with the sleeve than I did with the Band & I'm only 5 1/2 weeks post op!!! It's definitely a learning experience so be patient, do everything your nutritionist & doctors say & u will do well. Best wishes!! DD
