  4. No. Everybody says ours stomachs stretch while pregnant but some restriction comes back after giving birth. I Intend to go back to a strict sleepers diet after baby to help things out.

  6. I am 25 weeks. I have gained 19 lbs. Doing awesome so far. My doc says 25-30 lbs gain is ok. Of course I want the least amount of gain possible. Though I plan to breastfeed.

  14. It's different for everybody. I had several Along the way. The first few really upset me then I realized how much my body was actually changing during these stalls. Your body's cells have to re-align and re-adjust after weight changes so it makes sense really. I know I had one stall that liked to drove me crazy that lasted 3 weeks or so but in that time frame my pants got so loose I had to go buy smaller ones. So I stopped thinking of those periods as stalls and realized they were really just adjustment periods my body needed.
  15. The 3 week stall is super common. And gaining with TOM and/or stalling is common too. Don't worry! I always gained a few lbs and/or stalled during TOM...
  16. We are halfway through with the pregnancy as of today and I am so stoked to meet my little girl. This pregnancy has been so much different than all the others. I thank God for providing the means for me to have surgery!!!
  17. Ask if they do the jelly bean test instead. I was terrified too. The drink test attempt did not go well at all.
  18. I told you. It was like torture. I don't understand why they just don't jelly bean test all pregnant people. It's so much easier. Why put a pregnant person through that if there's an easier way? Being pregnant itself is hard enough.
  19. I would definitely call and let him know your surgery plans. It never hurts!
  20. For me, it's almost funny to be considered high risk. Since surgery and losing over 100 lbs I am healthy as a horse! Now, high risk when I had the last baby and was super overweight and had nothing but problems I understand. This pregnancy is going GREAT in comparison!

  22. We found out yesterday that we are having a girl. I watched my husband light up. Daddy is in love! Our son is super excited to get to be a big brother to a girl. We are elated around here!!
