    pregnancy weight gain worries

No. Everybody says ours stomachs stretch while pregnant but some restriction comes back after giving birth. I Intend to go back to a strict sleepers diet after baby to help things out.

    pregnancy weight gain worries

I am 25 weeks. I have gained 19 lbs. Doing awesome so far. My doc says 25-30 lbs gain is ok. Of course I want the least amount of gain possible. Though I plan to breastfeed.

    Halfway There!

We are halfway through with the pregnancy as of today and I am so stoked to meet my little girl. This pregnancy has been so much different than all the others. I thank God for providing the means for me to have surgery!!!

    Weight dain during period

It's different for everybody. I had several Along the way. The first few really upset me then I realized how much my body was actually changing during these stalls. Your body's cells have to re-align and re-adjust after weight changes so it makes sense really. I know I had one stall that liked to drove me crazy that lasted 3 weeks or so but in that time frame my pants got so loose I had to go buy smaller ones. So I stopped thinking of those periods as stalls and realized they were really just adjustment periods my body needed.

    Weight dain during period

The 3 week stall is super common. And gaining with TOM and/or stalling is common too. Don't worry! I always gained a few lbs and/or stalled during TOM...
  6. I drank the nasty stuff this morning at the doc and immediately felt cold sweats and clammy. Then I started throwing up. I feel terrible. They want me to come back Friday and do the "jelly bean" test. Never heard of it but I do hope it goes better than this test did. I will be spending the day resting.

    Gestational diabetes test NIGHTMARE!

Ask if they do the jelly bean test instead. I was terrified too. The drink test attempt did not go well at all.

    Gestational diabetes test NIGHTMARE!

I told you. It was like torture. I don't understand why they just don't jelly bean test all pregnant people. It's so much easier. Why put a pregnant person through that if there's an easier way? Being pregnant itself is hard enough.

    Question?

I would definitely call and let him know your surgery plans. It never hurts!

    It's a GIRL!

We found out yesterday that we are having a girl. I watched my husband light up. Daddy is in love! Our son is super excited to get to be a big brother to a girl. We are elated around here!!

    Progress so far

For me, it's almost funny to be considered high risk. Since surgery and losing over 100 lbs I am healthy as a horse! Now, high risk when I had the last baby and was super overweight and had nothing but problems I understand. This pregnancy is going GREAT in comparison!

    Gestational diabetes test NIGHTMARE!

I only had to eat 18 jelly beans in 5 min. I think the drink (10 ounces shoved in our sleeve in 5 min) was the problem. My sleeve can't hold 10 ounces all at once so it came back up. Then I felt terrible. Yes, the sugar in the jelly beans made me feel kinda poopy but I drank water after to flush out and felt better. Ask for the jelly bean test. It's way better.

    Gestational diabetes test NIGHTMARE!

The jelly bean test was easy breezy actually. I don understand why they don't do that test for all pregnant people. Doesn't make sense.

    Pregnancy Glucose Test?

You are lucky! That glucose drink was awful! The jelly bean test went fabulous though! I don't know why they just don't do that for everybody!

    Pregnancy Glucose Test?

I was told today after throwing up the glucose drink and becoming very sick that I can do the "jelly bean" test instead. I sure hope that goes better. I don't feel so good.

    Pregnancy and diarrhea

I am 3 months pregnant. Having the same thing going on. I have gained about 4 lbs. I gain and lose the same few lbs. Doc told me not to worry so much about weight gain till the end of the 2nd trimester. So for now I am not going to stress. I do feel restriction similar to what it was when I was just out of surgery some days. It's a chore to eat anything. Still battling morning sickness most days... Hoping to feel better soon.

    Vomiting Air?

Ha! Not that great! Lol! I get it so bad every single pregnancy. I hate it. But it takes the edge off. I have been extremely nauseous at times but haven't thrown up nearly as much as previously.

    Vomiting Air?

Yes. Bigger than starbursts. But same concept. I put one in the side of my mouth and then chew when the flavor starts diminishing. It seems to be helping. I threw up air/ saliva this morning. Got up and at it too early without popping a chew or eating. Soooo miserable! I got a B12 shot this afternoon for the first time since becoming pregnant and I feel great right now!

    Vomiting Air?

I am pregnant with #5 also! And this excessive saliva drives me batty. One thing that seems to help me is ginger chews. I got some from the health food store and it eases the nausea too!

    Pregnancy Glucose Test?

I guess I should ask if there is a post surgery guideline for that at my next OB visit. My OB is saying I have to drink that nasty stuff twice this pregnancy because of my age... Yuck!!
