JUNE 13TH IN PUERTA VAJARTA

I'm scheduled for June 8th can't wait!!! In the process of getting all my pre op stuff done such as my scope, labs, seeing my pcp,and my pre op teaching session...so much to do and it seems as time is flying.

My doctor will have me on a liquid diet 2 wks before surgery. So since I know my date is tentatively June 11' date=' I am starting to substitute one - two meals a day for a liquid. I'm hoping that will make the full liquid diet easier to do. Anyone else having to do the liquid diet before surgery?[/quote']

My doctor wants me to do 2protein shakes and a small meal like a healthy choice, no more then 800 cal a day 2 weeks pre op

Guess I will find out the diet design on May 24th when I go to the surgeon to schedule my surgery. We are shooting for June 11, and if cant get that date Im going to demand somewhere in that week lol. If the diet is the same as what you are doing I can handle that. Well at least I say I can lol, big talk for a big gal, who wants to be a smaller woman. HA! Bet I end up eating my words huh? Oh wait, there I go again referring to food. B)

Congrats! It'll be here and gone before you know it. :)

Yes on both. I counted up ,y days I have 45 days and counting:)

I have two more weeks of old food then I start my two week liquids yuk. Nervous about that. I am frm Canada and will be traveling to Mexico. How about you girls? Anyone else going to Mexico?

With my EGD on Monday, Wednesday surgery class, and Friday EKG and tests....it REALLY does feel like it going pretty fast!! I've noticed that I'm craving things, almost like it will be the last time I get to eat them cravings. Anyone else having those. Weird for me to feel like I'm going through a loss for food period.

I decided to semi start my pre-surgery diet with 1 protein shake for breakfast and 2 smaller meals...I like the idea of the healthy choice as one of the meals...I'm going to have to try that. It's very exciting to have many June-sleevers to chat with!! I've started going to our local support group, but am glad that I have many of you to chat with and help with my journey!! My family is very supportive, but they are all thin and don't quite understand what I've been going through, it's nice to not feel like the oddball anymore, and that I can get support here too!! Thank you, it's making my process a lot easier!! Good luck with all of you, WE'RE going to do GREAT!!
