  4. Lisa-- I will be traveling by myself when I go. I have to see a hemetologist to see if there is a problem with my immune system before I get the surgery. I have done the bloodwork and I will see the dr in 1 wk when test results r back. Once I know that I can reschedule the surgery. Hopefully still for end of Aug or beginning of sept It was good to hear from u also sleeve guru--- thank u for your info about Dr Joya It is good to hear from someone about him. Do not get muxh on the forum about him--- sandi
  5. HI LISA i was supposed to have my surgery with Dr Joya on 6/13 but I ended up in the hospital mid april for 5 days with a toxic cellulitis in my thigh and had to have surgery. Was on antibiotics for three weeks and 1 week after finishing antibiotics, ended up with a urinary tract infection. My primary Dr stated that he felt the sleeve surgery should be put off for a little bit until my body healed a little more and was not so immunocompromised, So-------- I am now planning to have it the end of august or beginning of sept. It is good to see that someone else is going to Dr Joya. Most everyone on this forum has gone to TJ etc. Would luv to be friends so we can give each other support during both of our adventures in PV and afterwards. Send me an email at sls362@comcast.net to let me know Hope to hear from u soon------------------- Sandi a
